011: One Big Hollywood Movie

When they got back from their two years in Germany, they made pit stop in Vegas, getting married on March 4, 1960. The couple only had a few friends, their Memphis mafia and whoever else was with them. Leslie and Elvis were now Mr. And Mrs. Presley.

The Presley's Triumphant Return To Hollywood

"You not longer want to sing in your films," the reporter interviewing them started, "Is that right? You want to be a dramatic actor and actress."

Leslie nodded slightly, "Well, sir, that's our big ambition now."

"It takes a lot of time, a lot of experience," Elvis added on.

They were as good as Brando. But you didn't want to see them in movies where they didn't sing.

Leslie and Elvis kissed backing up until they fell on the red bed in their trailer. When they pulled away, they both wore big smiles before Leslie pulled him back in.

Thanks to me, their life became one big Hollywood movie!

Staring Priscilla...

After a lot of persuasion, they were able to talk Priscilla's parents into her coming to the States from Germany. The only thing they needed to do was give her a home, friendship and find a good school for her to finishes schooling.

And a cast of their "buddies" and "cousins".

The movies over the years got less and less exciting to film. Between 1967 and 1968, Leslie took her maternity leave, falling pregnant after many miscarriages.

There was that fairytale wedding. And the honeymoon on Frank Sinatra's jet. And introducing babies Lisa Marie, Elizabeth Love and Aaron Michael.

I made them the highest paid actor and actress in Hollywood history. We had a lot of fun! But Elvis was a young man, Leslie a young woman, and of course, they got distracted. So we made them fast and cheaper.

The movies were the same and at the rate they made them, it wasn't enjoyable anymore. They didn't get the Hollywood dream they dreamed of, it was like they were stuck in a constant loop.

Cronkite was broadcasting through the TV as Elvis and Leslie made their way to the front of the bus, "Good evening. Dr. Martin Luther King, the apostle of non-violence in the Civil Rights movement, has been shot to death in Memphis, Tennessee."
