"no" he said as he tightened his arms around your waist
"No, seriously everyone is staring!"
"Oh, sorry" he chuckled as he let go of you fully
"Well, uhh should we talk outside, not here" you said dragging him out of the pharmacy along with your pills
"Are you sick?" He said pointing to the pills your holding
"Oh, this?, yeah sort of" you said looking away
"I almost didn't recognize you, you sure have changed" he said taking a strand of your hair
"Yeah, but I recognize you, you look the same" you chuckled
"Hey!? In what way? I am mature.." he said eyeing you suspiciously
"See, same attitude, goofy" you burst out laughing
"Not funny!"
"Anyways, i see you came back after 4 years" he said whispering the last part
"Yeah, its just so much has happened and- " you said
"And what" he said cutting you off
"You never answered none of my texts back and you'd ignore my calls?"
"I told you distance wouldn't work out" you said nonchalantly
"Then why tell me to wait for you?"
"Idk" she froze, she had forgetten she had said that
He sighed, he knew they were getting knowhere. He wanted to ask her about that man he saw her with, but didn't know how to bring it up. He was also hoping, she wasn't married. He looked at her hand, no ring.
"Who was that guy?" He stated bluntly
"Huh!? That was isagi"
"No not him, the one at the grocery store"
"Oh, boyfriend" she stated

"Lucas" is he being serious, she thought
Wow! Ugly name too, he thought. He was hoping, she wouldn't ask him, if he were in a relationship, in which he is but he'd rather be single. He took in her appearance and yet she still looked amazing. He refrained himself from wanting to makeout with you.

"I have a girlfriend too and I love her a lot?!" he said obviously lying to himself
