Short story ;(  wanted to try a rin one and kurona for some reason :3

You had just started your junior year of highschool, sophmore year is gone, you felt relieved that it was all in the past. This year was sure to be different, you were single, you weren't looking for a relationship not right after him.

"hey girl, you'𝐫𝐞 getting distracted again!" your friend waved her hands frequently in your face for the pas𝐭  3 mins

"oh, sorry it's just i was thinking of last year" you picked on your nails to show that you were nervous

"huh? ohh...i see, don't worry girl he moved remember, anyways lets go to our lockers!!" your friend tried to change the topic

That's what he told me, "I'm moving so I want to breakup" , you stared at the paper infront of you which held your new class room numbers

But did he really move?, what if he just wanted to end things..., "hey y/n, you are spacing out again" your friend looked at you in worry

"Right, sorry again i'm just really tired" you stated

"It's okay but I may have to leave you for awhile, look" she showed you her paper to show that she had art first period and you didn't

"Oh, I have history" you frowned

"Hey, we'll meet after lunch okay!!, Byeeee" she dashed to her class

His favorite subject is history..., no please why am I remembering that!, you went straight to your class, to your seated number without looking at the others in the class

"You're in my seat"

"Oh, I'm sorr-" You paused and looked up to see him, no words were exchanged between you right after that

And now i sit next to him?, does he even remember me? its only been 2 months since we last spoken in person, that liar, you glared at his side profile

"what" he caught you starin

"nothin" you turned to the window

Outside the window you can see a glimpse of the soccer field and see your guy friend kurona on the fields. Kurona looked up to see you starin and waved causing you to do the same. Rin on the other hand wasn't paying much attention to your little interaction or so

After class you couldn't help but feel a little sad, after everything we've been through, everyone was right about us not lasting, you took out your phone to text your friend.

mmm art is fun!, met a cute guy goes by the name isagi  - y/fn (yourfriendname)

is that so? put me on his friends - y/n

You put your phone away once it was time to go to lunch. "Hey"

You looked up to see kurona "kurona, hey!"

"Want to have lunch together?, just the two of us" he sheepishly asked

"Sure!" You chuckled and took out your lunch

"How was class?"

"Okay, could've been better if a certain someone was there" he coughed

"No way, kurona you like someone?" You leaned in closer to suspect

"Uhh well its yo-" he was interrupted by y/fn

"HEY YA'll, I got good news" y/fn cheered

"Yessss telll usss" you said

"Ok so I'M TALKING TO the guy i told you about!, not dating yet but soon" y/fn grinned

"I'M SO PROUD!" you launched onto her and gave her the biggest hug

"Yesss, oh i also told him about you to put you on his friends and he just froze?, but then he said sure, but now that I think about it, it was weird" y/fn said

"Hmm that is weird?" Why would he freeze by the mention of my name?, you thought

"Anyways, i have to get going again see you both later, muahh!" y/fn vanished

"Kurona what do you wanna do today?" You asked

"I got no plans anything you wanna do?"

"Well then let's just roam the hallways afterclass"

"Cool with that!, alright see you" kurona got up and took his leave

For some unknown reason rin was watching from afar but containing a stern facial expression.  It can't be her, she looks different, rin thought to himself

I fucked up, but it was better to breakup then have her heart shattered not letting her know, heh she probably wishes me dead, rin chuckled

"What if I talk to him! I miss him and maybe there was a reason to all this and I should let him explain!" You let out all your emotions to poor kurona who couldn't help but smile and listen to you ramble

"You could try that and expect the worse or not"

"Yeah but I also don't see myself in another relationship nor do I want to be with anyone rn" you looked to ground in disappointment not knowing what you want

"ok let's see, how about 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 then?" kurona said

"hmm, not bad but do you think he will wanna be friends?"

"hey idk, but give it a try if it's something you want to see" he smiled

"yeah you're right!, thank you i'll do it right now and get it over with" you spoke with confidence running off

"yes" i know he's watching, saw him earlier last time, he really is trying to make this obvious, you are one lucky guy rin!, kurona stayed silent and waited for rin to come out

"I know your here" kurona said

"good eyes, but don't worry I don't want to discuss or take y/n from you" rin partly lied

"she still likes you" kurona nonchalantly said

"..."

"Go get her, she is looking for you"

Those words were enough to make him  go look for you  and rin is hoping that you would give him a chance to hear him out and apologize for being rude if he ever was.  But no matter what, this time he was going to make it right but it was all gunna start over by being friends.
