Chapter 18: The M-Vid20 Potion

The next day after many tries of experimenting with the green vial potion, Selene finally told her other family friends as they tried to continuously help her. Selene had an idea that came into her head and explained her plan, "Guys, I have kwento (tea) for you!" "Anong kwento mo?" (What's your tea?) Flor asked as Calista's eyes turned yellow. Selene told her plan, "As you can see, I tried testing the Mvid-20 Potion, but it didn't work, and I also tried using this green virus substance. It's the same and it didn't work too so I need your help in making the Mvid-20 Potion." "How will we make the Mvid-20 Potion?" Anisa asked. Selene came up with a plan, "Team Red, you gather the ingredients from the Herbology Greenhouse. Team Blue, you gather the books to research more information. Team Green, you'll be gathering some ingredients that aren't plant-based and as for Team Yellow, we'll be making the potion!" Team Red (James, Anisa, Lily, Hugo, Rose, Molly, Lucy, Fred, Lorcan, and Quigley) went to the Herbology Greenhouse to gather magical herbs to make the antidote. Team Blue (Louis, Roxanne, Esau, Deu, Pippa, and Matilda) researched more antidotes on making the medicinal potion, Team Green (Scorpion, Albus, and Amora) gathered some ingredients (that aren't plant-based) and Team Yellow (Calista, Selene, Priscilla, Flor, Willow, and Lysander) waited for the 3 Teams to arrive at the Potions Classroom. After some time of waiting, Team Red, Blue, and Green gathered everything. Calista asked as her eyes turned purple with worry, "What took you so long?" "We gathered some books that might work with our Mvid20 Potion," answered Pippa. Deu responded, "I'm going to write down the notes on how this Mvid-20 Potion will work." "I hope our potion will work successfully and this is our final chance. It's now or never!" Willow replied worriedly. Calista trembled, "Wish everyone the best in making the potion!" Team Yellow made the potion carefully, step by step until they were finished in making the Mvid20 Potion.

How to make the Mvid20 Potion: 

Ingredients:
½ Mandrake Leaves
¾ Puffapod Petals
⅓ Gillyweed
¼ Dried Nettles
Water
⅕ African Pepper
⅙ Bundimun Secretion
⅗ Butterscotch
⅜ Cinnamon
⅖ Wormwood 
1 Bottle of Green Water Substance

Equipment:
Cauldron
A Strong Knife
Spoon

Steps:
1. Pour some hot boiling water in the cauldron.
2. Tear some ½ Mandrake Leaves and then mix it with ⅗ of Butterscotch for 7 minutes.
3. Chop some ¾ of puffapod petals and then stir it with the mandrake and butterscotch mixture for 8 minutes.
4. Cut some ¼ of dried nettles then mix it with ⅜ of Cinnamon for 9 minutes.
5. Add ⅕ of African Pepper then Mix it with ⅖ of Wormwood for 10 minutes.
6. Add ⅙ of Bundimun Secretion and then mix it with the green water substance. Keep stirring until the medicine is made.

After making the potion, Matilda asked, "Do you think it could work?" "Let's find out. If it works, yes then all will be restored and if it doesn't, we'll leave it to the other professionals," Selene answered. The 4 Teams (with their facemasks and safety gear on) arrived at the Hospital Wing with everyone lying down on their beds, affected by Mvid20. Dr. Pomfrey gave a sad look as she spoke, "We tried everything to make the Mvid20 antidote, but it didn't work." "Dr. Pomfrey, we made the Mvid20 Potion and I think you can try ours," Selene responded. The nurse gave a devastating worried look, "I hope your M-vid20 Remedy can work," Dr. Pomfrey said. Calista's eyes turned purple once more, hoping that their cure could work. She tested out the medicine as the one of the patients took it and.... He recovered quickly. At last, the Mvid-20 successfully did work! Calista's eyes turned yellow with joy and their potion did turn out to be a success. Dr. Pomfrey cried tears of joy and surprise, "Oh my! Your potions did work! How did you make it?" Matilda explained everything on how the teams make their M-vid20 treatment and the nurse was so relieved. Deu gave the paper with the instructions that he made to Dr. Pomfrey. He told her, "This is the guide on how to make the Mvid-20 Antidote." "Thank you, for helping us and this year could've gone worse than last year, but you gave us hope!" Dr. Pomfrey choked with astonishment and happiness. After the teammates exited the Hospital Wing, they cheered up, finally knowing that their potion works as Calista's eyes turned yellow spinning with delight.
