Selene Riddle and The Mago-Virus Plague

Chapter 7: Changes

They finally arrived in Hogwarts. Selene felt like she never left in the first place and went inside the carriage with her twin Esau. They were finally escorted to the Great Hall and found themselves farther away from their fellow housemates. Esau waved to his sister as she waved back and looked around with how it felt like nothing was real. She finally saw who came beside her, Willow, one of her best friends in the entire world, also the daughter of Olivia De Lav. She was one of the people who kept on talking to her to stay strong when no one could help her. Willow Sat beside her father than normal but held each other's hands with excitement as they both knew the risk if they hugged as Selene asked "WILLOW, you look so pretty!! How are you!!" Willow responded with a smile "I am better than ever; I told my mom that I felt good staying at our house at home, but this is better... What about you Selene?" Selene said with a smile "Happier" she smiled even more than ever before. The Headmistress came into the room as she greeted everyone, "Now as you can see, there will be half of the students who choose to stay at Hogwarts while some of them choose to stay at home and this is an agreement for all of you to keep you safe". Children came into the room and were ready to get sorted as the Sorting Hat began to sing in song and the first one was Amora Dursley. The Sorting Hat cleared its throat "Hmm... A hard-headed person, easily hot-tempered, bossy, and picky hmm? Better be Slytherin!" The Slytherins cheered for their cousin and Albus was happy to see his cousin be in Slytherin and whistled "Atta girl!" The 1st year students were finally sorted into their Houses until the last student. Headmistress Doolittle came back to the Podium and spoke firmly "Now before you dig into your feast, I must remind you of these rules. Rule 1: Practice social distancing to avoid catching M-vid20. In case you're wondering what M-vid20 is, it's also a word to shorten Mago-Virus. Rule 2: Bring your own Tissue, Hand Sanitizer, and other Toiletries. Rule 3: Bring your own masks and we all shall provide your house masks so if you lose it, we will not replace it and wear them at all times. Rule 4: Cover your mouth and your nose using a face mask and don't breathe in when someone coughs or sneezes to avoid getting you ill. Rule 5: Go to the Hospital Wing if you feel unwell or have Mvid20 and do your studies to avoid missing out. As you can see, we sanitized everything to keep the whole school clean from the virus. Rule 6: Wash your hands after you touch anything especially before and after mealtime. Even though the Mvid20 will be over soon, still you have to be guided by the rules of safety," After the 4 Houses were reminded of these rules, they all remembered to abide by the rules and started feasting on their dinner until it's bedtime. The Wizarding World was finally opened once again after 6 months of Lockdown from the Mvid20 but with changes.
