Roman's POV

Amira randomly left while I was in the bathroom, and it's been a while.

I've been in between finding her and letting her be.

She's her person but seems to have a habit of causing issues.

I look over at her seat, and then I realize that David's also been missing.

Maybe I should find her.

Knowing her, she probably went outside, so I head towards the roof and try to avoid the sick 'what-if's running through my mind.

I open the door and see nothing, but then I hear someone yelling.

It's David.

I run to the terrace area and see him talking to Amira, and she looks uncomfortable.

Calmly, I walk over and pat David's shoulder.

"Are you done talking to my girlfriend?"

He tries to hide his shock, but I see through it and hold out a hand for Amira.

She quickly takes it, I escort her out of the area and back inside.

"Do you want to go back or go to the room?"

She nods.

"Let's get you in bed."

We enter the elevator in silence and watch the floor counter go up.

I notice that her demeanor is less confident and she's more closed off than usual.

"Should I get you something," I ask cautiously, "water, food, anything?"

"Do you think you could get me Maggi?"

I look over at her.

"What is that?"

"Find an Indian grocery store and ask them if they have it."

I nod and search for Indian grocery stores near me, luckily a couple of stores are still open.

We walk to our room in silence, I open the door, and she practically runs in.

She sits down on the couch and I help her take her heels off and then help her with her jewelry and corset.

After putting the jewelry in the safe, I grab my keys and wallet and head out to buy her food.

"I'll be back soon okay?"

She nods.

I promise myself that I'll be quick.

It ended up taking me an hour to get her food because the first two places were sold out of her ramen noodles.

Now I'm waiting for her to open the door and let me in.

The door swings open and I'm greeted by Amira in a robe.

"Did you get it?"

I nod and she lets me in.

"I gave the ramen to the kitchen staff and they said they'll bring it up when it's ready."

She rolls her eyes and lays back down on the bed.

"Not the same thing but okay."

I sit down on the couch and we eye each other for a couple of minutes.

Someone knocks on the door and I silently thank them for pulling me away from this.

I take the tray of noodles and bring them back to Amira, whose eyes immediately shine at the sight of them.
