Going through these halls is hell. I walk around knowing it's my last few months in this dungeon. I never liked the atmosphere of school, but I did like learning. The teachers are somewhat nice, yet I've had a few bad ones.Leaving out the doors, going to unlock my car, mom messages me.
Can you pick up Lily at school?
I quickly replied with a yes.
Picking up Lily was never an inconvenience. As I've stated before, my sister is my world and even more so because I don't want her to be scared of me for something my stupid friends say and their personality.
Quickly, getting into the car and driving to the Elementary school, Lily waits with some of her friends in front of the car pool.
I think she's too busy laughing with her friends to notice me, so I roll down the window and wave my hand at her. "Lilybug!" I yell, knowing that I only call her that.
She looked over, crossing her arms and shaking her head. I sighed, pulling into the first parking spot I see. Turning off the car, I get out walking over to her.
"Lilybug, come on." I say gently.
She frowned. "No, mama said she was picking me up."
Seeing her hate me, is hurting my heart physically. "Well I'm here, just as good right?!" I expressed.
Lily shrugged her shoulders. "Before I knew your friends were meanies. C, was really hurt she cried."
With that statement my eyes widened. "What do you mean she was crying?"
Lily sighed. "She was crying and that made me cry. Figure it out, bubba."
I took my hand out for her. "Come on, Lily. Please?" I begged.
After a second she took my hand, as we walk to the car together.
Soon, we arrive home and she grabs her, backpack running to the front door. Looking over, Abel and Mom are drinking some coffee on his porch. I wave over to them, but then a lightbulb hits. I'm going to need to confront Ciara about this.
I'm a shy guy. Like really shy, and nerdy but I'm not stupid. I know this girl likes me and I really like her. Tonight was the night.
"Hey, Lily I'm just going to go talk to talk to Uncle Abel and Mom, alright? Can I trust you to go to your-."
"Just go get your women!" She yelled, giggling.
I rolled my eyes, I walked over to them. As I'm about to step up on the porch, Abel spoke. "I never pegged you for being the obsessed type, Darren." He joked, my mom hitting him on the arm.
He muttered an "ouch", rubbing his arm.
"Anyways, bud she's not here. At work."
I nodded my head. Fuck. But I didn't want to wait, I wanted her now. I needed to feel her lips, I needed to feel what it's like to be with her.
This fire within me erupted.
"What time does her shift end?" I questioned.
