The king called for me within two hours of her resting as I had to keep things professional. The King already had overstepped his means when it came to the tailor, Genya. She was like us, but she was denied wolf nights while helping the Queen. It would work out soon, when I finally would claim that throne the King sat on and had my mate at my side as my Queen.
As I made my way to the Grand palace, I was irritated at leaving her alone in my room. Yet I kept my composure as I walked in and made the way to the throne room. Once I got there I stopped and bowed. "Moi Tsar. You asked for me." I said as I knew exactly what this was about. "I hear that one of the Grisha in 2nd army has shown to be a white wolf...Sun Summoner." He said
She's my white wolf.. I thought in irritation
"Yes, Tsar. It would seem so but she was injured so she's healing and resting right now." I said keeping my composure. The future Luna of 2nd army was injured...I was angry about it. Angry at Zoya...knowing this was all bad. "Injured? Well when she's healed, I want to meet her and bring her forward." The King said
My wolf growls in anger inside of me knowing the King looked at Grisha..Some of the Grisha are half breeds from their parents being human. My white wolf, she wasn't...she's pure Grisha and the King or even his heir the Prince would look at her. When the King was done I showed respect and went back as I knew she'd heal...her wolf could heal her but since she was far from her connected pack..would that slow her healing?
We've tried to keep the humans from knowing we're wolves...so all they know is our small science. I thought
Walking into my room I saw her still laying in my bed, she hadn't even moved from where she was. It made me concerned that she seemed so fragile. I walked over to her as I wondered if the raffle truly was luck and mother..was it more? I looked at the clock and soon as it hit the hour. A feeling came over me...what it was I'm not sure. I'd heard once of fated mates...among Grisha.
When I looked down at her this time, my wolf growled possessively at looking at her. At first I wasn't sure why but then as I closed my eyes and smelled something...sweet. It was within the room but the only thing that was different now was her. When I opened my eyes I looked down at her sleeping form.
Saints...she actually is my mate...my fated mate. I thought
As I got up and let her sleep, I paced knowing this changed everything..and then I realized my wolf knew. All my actions towards her made sense now and it seemed like she just showed up at the right time. Now I had the worst part to deal with, still assuring she'd be mine I had to do the mating ritual to secure this...but her healing. Just from the smell I could tell that she was healing slower than normal. At first I didn't know why until I remembered....she's not actually part of this pack.
Saints...I have to get her Alpha..her father. I thought
I had word sent out to find her parents..bring them here for her sake. I really did have to take things to another level. Yet, when Ivan came in and saw her laying on my bed and she barely moved he looked at me. "Sir, about her...since she's lied perhaps you should rechoose on the ra-" I looked at Ivan before he finished. "She's my mate..my fated mate. As Fedyor is yours, there will be no redrawing of anything." I said with my authority tone. "Then why is she still laying in bed?" He asked as I looked at her "She's not part of the pack..so her Alpha must come. Her father." I said
Ivan left but I stayed by her and sat with her knowing it was not going to be easy as I moved her hair out of her eyes. I saw her eyes open then as she looked at me but she looked so fragile.
Zoya..you'll be punished for this..if your Alpha doesn't punish you. I thought
