You made it home and immediately went to grinding up the Echinacea and mixing it with other ingredients to make a paste-like medicine

You hear Tamayo and Yushiro talking to the patients in the background and that alone puts your mind at ease

It was a long night so you didn't bother making conversation with your patients like you usually do

You walked over to a 14-year-old boy in bed before reaching for his leg and holding it up

Y/n: "This might sting a little." You said as you slowly started applying the antibiotic you just made

When you finished you went back to your station to prepare more medicine

Y/n: "That was a medicine to remove the snake venom from the bite, you should be able to leave tomorrow morning if it starts to swell then come back! You could risk getting an infection if you don't let me know about it."

You were tired, you used up a ton of energy in the fight but had to tend to your duties before going to sleep

It was silent as you removed a jar from a cabinet, you removed the Elderberry extract before placing fresh Elderberries in the jar to turn them into extract

You had a few reports of headaches from various patients which you decided was because of Yushiro arguing with a male patient when he asked out Tamayo

You made one cup of Elderberry tea for a child with a fever and took the Elderberry extract to the incense burner to relieve people of headaches

You walked away with the tea entering the room of a little girl

Her mother came here saying she broke her leg climbing a tree and somehow managed to catch a fever on the way here

Y/n: "Be careful it's hot!" You said as you handed the cup to the child and walked off after hearing a quiet "thank you"

It didn't take long for you to fall asleep. It was seconds after your body hit the futon before you fell asleep

You awoke the next morning and went downstairs to tend to your patients

You walked into the room of the little girl to see her beaming with energy and any sign of a fever gone

Y/n: "How is your leg feeling? It should fully heal in a week from now." You spoke with a bright smile

Little girl: "I feel great! Does this mean I get to go back and see my mom now?" She spoke with a beaming smile

Y/n: "Yes it does! I'm gonna miss you here." You spoke as you booped her nose

She giggled as you picked her up

Y/n: "Let's go your mom should be here to pick you up!" You said as you swiftly exited the room

When you entered the lobby of your home/Hospital you saw two familiar faces that made you panic

You saw them talking to another nurse who was thankfully human but that didn't stop the scarred one from making eye contact with you

When you handed the little girl to her mother you reached into your pocket to offer the little girl some candy

Little girl's mom: "Thank you so much for doing this for me, I wouldn't know what to do."

Y/n: "We can always teach people what we know to help your families, we can even offer you a job here if that's what you want."

Little girl's mom: "Thank you but that's alright, I just want to spend time with my family."

Y/n: "It looks like her healing process is good so far but let me know if you see any swelling or discoloration of the skin!"

You were eager to leave as you felt uncomfortable with the slayers' eyes on you the entire time you spoke

You were about to walk off when the secretary of the hospital called your name

Secretary: "Mrs. L/n you were the only one not scheduled for an appointment right now so I am going to assign you those two." She said pointing to the slayers

Your blood ran cold, you still haven't fully recovered your energy from last night so could you fight them again now?

You decided to stall for time and walked over to them

Y/n: "Before I take you into the examination room I have some questions to ask you to get a hold of what to look for?"

The slayers stayed silent and watched your every move

Y/n: "so which one of you will I examine today?" Sweat dripped down your forehead

Once again they stayed silent

It looked like they were leaving much wiggle room for you so you decided to get straight to business

Y/n: "Why are you here, what do you want from me?" You spoke any hint of optimism from before disappearing

The scarred one just smiled at you and said
"I believe you have something of mine."

Y/n: "I believe you slayers can get another one, I need a sword to defend myself from demons two!" You spoke coldly

???: "What could a demon like you possibly need a Nichiren blade for?" He spoke changing to a serious look

Y/n: "That man is after me and my family and I wish for a better way to protect my family, I believe we're done here!"

You walked off and told the secretary that those men had no injuries and just wanted to speak with me

You ran into the room Tamayo and Yushiro were in before speaking

Y/n: "Tamayo we need to leave this place!" You announced

Tamayo: "Calm down tell me what happened!" She spoke as she stood up

Y/n: "I'll tell you when we find a new place to stay but for now all I can say is a group of slayers found us!"

Tamayo stayed silent for a moment thinking about what to do before speaking once more

Tamayo: "Pack up we are leaving when the moon rises." And with that, you ran off to go pack your things
