Chapter 4 - The Squad
The moment when I met Amanda and Rob's eyes, they both involuntarily gasped in shock. I mean, is it really that surprising? Do I look really weird or something?
"Oh my fricking Gosh!" Amanda gasped. "IS THIS REAL LIFE?" She shouted getting weird looks from the people in the Cafeteria.
"Yes. It is real life and that's Johnny the meanie." Rob stated as he fixed himself from the floor. So he still remembered huh? A smirk formed on my face as I helped myself on the table besides David.
"What the hell are you doing here? Oh my gosh. This is too much to f*cking handle." She stated still in phase of shock.
"I study here? Duh." I gave her an 'as a matter of fact' look.
"Oh of course. Duh. I thought. Blaa. Whatever." She then stand up and reach for me in a very long hug. Letting go and then mumbling a few incoherent words again before sitting and stuffed fried on her mouth again.
"My. It's been a while Amanda." I smiled.
"You have no idea! We should totally spend the day together and catch up. Oh my gosh. I have so much to tell you. From when we left London up to my acceptance here. Oh my gosh." She mumbled incoherent words again.
"Alright tigress. Chill. I'll drive John down in the city for a symposium. Then he'll buy stuff for himself. You should go with us." David invited nicely.
"Of course. Of course. Oh my gosh. I am so excited!" Amanda blurted.
"Of course she is. She has been dying to talk to you for ages. The last time you talked together was when we bumped into Facebook. But unfortunately Grandma banned us from any means of social media till we're like seventeen which is last year." Rob explained. Of course. I did bumped into them. I forgot.
"Yes. It was tragic. Grandma is so over-protective." Amanda added.
"It's okay you guys. She just loves you both." I comforted. Even if there is really nothing to comfort. Amanda and Rob are just pretty stubborn darlings.
"We better eat fast so we can head to the city early. It will be a long drive you know?" David informed. The three of us nodded in agreement.
I still can't believe how lucky I am with these guys. Sure, I had a bloody rough time going here but look where it brought me. It brought me to David, which brought me to Amanda and Rob. It is a surreal moment by just looking at them eating. They are really here. In front of me.
"What?" Amanda and Rob said in unison.
"I am just scared how similar you guys are."
"Duh. We're twins?" They both said.
