Kathrina's POV
The packing is almost done. I will be reaching our new home early in the morning, for now I will be staying at my cousin's house. Her apartment building is adjacent to ours. I will be shifting in my home when dad comes back from a business trip. Until then I will have a great time staying with my cousin.
I am so excited to stay at her place. It reminds me of our childhood memories, when my mom was still alive and we used to go there on holidays.
My cousin "Mia" is such a great company to be with. One can never get bored when she is around.
Ring....,ring.....
The cab is here. Loading all of my stuff I get in the cab and head off.
After the drive of about 45 minutes. I reached my destination. I wanted to see our new house but couldn't as I have loads of bags with me so I quickly called Mia and asked her to come out to help me with the luggage.
"Kathrina........" Mia shouted and came running towards me. She just slammed her body on me which made me loose my balance and I almost fell on the ground. Pushing her away I regain my posture. "what the hell Mia can't you see so much of weight on me already that you jumped on me like a maniac".
She just ignored my curses, "I am so happy that you are here, we will have a lot of fun bebe" She said with a smile as bright as the sun itself.
"I am happy too, now help with all of this". After so much of struggle we are finally done with luggage settled in Mia's room. "I am so tired, you have got so much of stuff for yourself isn't it too much for a single person"Mia joked. "The luggage has the smallest thing that belongs to me since we are shifted to a new house so don't complaint" I replied elbowing her.
Mia..., Kathrina... Breakfast is ready come down stairs.
Mia's mom called out for breakfast. She is my birth mother's elder sister. She is such a sweet woman. She loves me like her own daughter or maybe more.
We got downstairs and sat at the dinning table. Aunt maria served us with her deliciously cooked food and I thanked her with every bite I take.
The day passed with so much joy as I spent time with Mia's family.
After taking the bath I get on the bed with Mia for the good night sleep. However I know we are not sleeping anytime soon. It has always been like this with us when ever we meet we endup sleeping in the morning hours.
"So? How is it going?" Mia asked. "You know it all well Mia". "Yeah but we haven't caught up in a long time", "well that is true" I agreed.
"So the relationship status, has it changed or you're still single" Mia asked with hope.
"Errrr.... No I am still single" I replied with hesitation because I know she is going to curse me for this.
"What? Like really? Can't you get yourself a boy? Is it that difficult? gawd you are hopeless, you disappoint me every time I ask about your relationship status". Mia looked at me as if I am dumb or something "It's not that important for me, I mean getting myself a guy just because you want me to huh! no way". Also I haven't found anyone who genuinely wants to be with me, I mean these days people are just about showoff and sex". I exclaimed.
"God you take it all too seriously it's not that you have to marry the guy you date, it's just for fun and experience sometimes girl". Mia said it so carelessly "If that is fun I don't want it" covering myself in the sheets I stare at Mia who is still making faces for my revert.
"Fine you do what you do"Mia gets in the sheets too. "Since you are here now l will take you to meet Luca, in fact I will be meeting him tomorrow and you need to come with me". Luca is Mia's boyfriend she recently told me that she loves him and he loves her too They have been dating each other for 2 years.
"Ohhh, Luca how is he? How are you guys doing together?" I asked with a glint of happiness. "We are sexy as fuck" Mia said with a notorious smile. "Be ready at 4 PM tomorrow I told him that you will be staying with me for some time and will make you meet him" Mia ordered. "Fine...."
