Chapter 5: A test

Vincenzo's POV

I was driving the car myself as I didn't want anyone else to be dropping her home. She is sitting in the passenger seat while Mia and Luca are at the back making out.

Katharina didn't say a thing since we got in the car. I am constantly watching her every move. She is too cute, she snaps her head away when I drift my head in her direction. I have never been a fan of eyes romance or any of these things but with her it's all different. She was nervous and uncomfortable beacause of all the sounds the couple at back seat making. I could see her turning crimson red.

When cara came to me flirtinly offering her self for the night I saw discomfort in Katharina's body language. She was confused and trying to figureout what we were whispering about but I doubt that she has any idea what it exactly was. she is too naive to understand it, it's writen in her face.

Soon we were outside there house. It was a normal apartment building with a sleeping guard. As I was about to take the car inside the entrance gate Katharina stopped me "Drop us here only, if anyone see us with you guys at this hour of time it won't be a good thing for our family". I parked the car adjcent to the gate and both the girls started getting off.

"Thankyou for driving us home" she said in her mesmerizing voice. I looked at her with longing as i did not want her to get out of the car anysoon. Sighing realising that she needs to go home I nod my head " pleasure is all mine, love" my words made her eyes widen as if she was amazed with word Love but soon she composed her self. Immediately she got off of the car and I saw her walk away from me her hair swaying just above her luscious ass. Resting my head back at the headrest I intensely stared at her direction as she walks away from me. Her slender legs taking long strides and soon she disappeared.

I couldn't sleep m, her face was constantly on my mind I was hard all night from just thinking about her. I tried hard to get the dirty thoughts out of my mind but couldn't. I had spend the entire evening with her and dropped her home as well but it felt as if it wasn't enough. I wanted her right in front of me, the urge to see her was so consuming, soon the sun could been seen rising. Sighing I head straight to the gym to work out.

While working out I decided that I will not let any emotion overpower me and fall for something I have always kept myself away from which is emotion. I decided to not see her anymore, suppressing all the urge and desire to see her again I went to take a shower. Yes I wanted her in every way possible but I knew if I let myself fall for this there is no coming back I realised it last night when she was walking away from me towards her house and it felt so heavy.

I need to get her out of my system. Also she is not my type I mean hell she is beautiful and everything a man desires but not one of those bold girls I hangout with.

One week later

A week passed, A bloody week pretending to be unaffected. But failed miserably. It's rather clear to me that there is no fucking point in fighting, in satisfying my ego when it doesn't even make me happy. This past week I was so irritated and unfocused all the time. the week went training my mind not to think of her but end up only thinking about her.

I was sitting in my office when Luca barged in snapping me out of my thoughts. "I don't think it is a good place for day dreaming brother" Luca chukled. "I am not in a mood just spill the been". "She will be in your restaurant tomorrow Evening ". I asked Luca to bring Katharina to meet me I couldn't take it anymore it's eating me from inside. "So what's is your plan? What do you intend on doing with her? A devilish smirk played on my lips.

"I want her and I will make it clear to her, she needs to know it" I told him heading towards the glass wall taking in the view. "I told you she is not your type and you will end up hurting her" Luca stood behind me "I am clear with what I want and that is it" I deadpanned "you will break her bro also I think you can easily let her go" his words made me snap "Have you ever, like ever seen me so desperate to meet a girl? You have been there with me last week so you know it better that how I was." I clear my point although I didn't have to. "Yeah man I get it but-". "Do I look like a teenage boy to you who doesn't understand himself. I am a grown man who has slept with countless girls and let me make it clear to you that all of them were extremely hot, but never have I ever felt so restless without a girl. I tried to suppress it all this past week but it's rather clear to me that I want that girl, I want kathrina and She is all mine" I took a seat on the couch opposite to my large Mahogany table while Luca looked at me shocked then snapped taking a deep sigh.

"I think I give up on this topic now" Luca sat on the couch next to me surrendering his hands in the air giving me a wide smile."By the way you will be thrilled to know that she has become quite famous in Mia's neighborhood". "What do you mean?" I leaned forward to concentrate. "I mean almost all the guys in Mia's neighborhood are behind her and a few have already approached her ever since she arrived here. "And you are telling me this now? I am beyond pissed, people are behind my girl and I don't even know it I need to ask my men to gaurd her" I shook my head annoyingly "I thought why would you care but now since you told me how much you need that girl... here I am telling you" . "I need every and I mean every information about her ". Giving him a last glare I started heading out of my office for a meeting. " And yeah one more thing, you remember this guy Dante I told you once he is Mia's ex, he is totally into your girl he tried to block her on the road and tried some flirty tricks on her.

I didn't say a word and burst out of my office beyond annoyed. I could hear Luca calling out my name but I was so done with it.
