Too good to be alone

The hooting increased as we go near the garden. "Oh my god he is actually here I can't believe it" a girl ahead of me said while I tried to look through the crowd. "Damn yes, he never attend such parties, I have only seen him attending high profile business parties, god he is hot as fuck" the other girl drooled over.

As I looked through the crowd I saw someone getting out of the car and all of a sudden the hooting came to a pin drop silence. Suddenly the air felt cold as the girls started making way for someone.

Rebecca grips my wrist and drags me through the crowd pushing everyone to have a clear view of what is going on. "I will kill whoever is spoiling my party" Rebecca's irritation was evident. As we reach on the edge of top stair of main door my eyes fall on the tallest guy in the party tonight, his forest green eyes scanning the crowd.

"Damn, I want this man even if it is for just an hour" I heard a voice behind me. The pin drop silence turned in mere whispers as he took few steps forward. His scanning come to a halt as his eyes find me among the crowd and my breath hitched with just one look.

I don't know how he does this but he takes my breath away every time he looks at me.

My hand started sweating, he is here, why? Rebecca invited him, or he is here to get to me? The way he is looking at me says a lot and absolutely nothing at the same time because I can't quite read him.

Jason and Luca joined behind him, he breaks the eye contact with me as they start walking towards the main door. "I Hate when people snatch away the attention from me" Rebecca growled beside me. As vincenzo enters the main door all the people make way for him.

It does not matter if he owns the place or not, he walk like a king knowing his effect on others.

Mia leaves my side running towards the guys. The crowd scatters as the guys stands in the middle of the living room.

"You guys can relax... we are here for few hours so you have all the time in the world to drool over" Luca announced pointing at Vincenzo on drooling over.

Jason walks with a wide smile on his face towards me and Rebecca. "Hey, baby..." He hugs Rebecca lovingly as if she is made of glass. "you should have told me he is coming" Rebecca points towards Vincenzo "He joined last minute baby".

"Hey, Katharina, good to see you... how are you doing?" Jason smiled at me brightly  "I  am fine, welcome to your girlfriend's party, however you are quite late" I mocked to which his eyes widened and we all laugh together. My smile drops as the devil make his way towards us his aura intimidating as always.

I don't want to face him, why is he here? It's not where he belongs.... As he stands few feet away from me I look everywhere except for him.

"You spoiled my party you know that" Rebecca snapped at vincenzo making him look at her. His eyes filled with dark amusement "I don't think it's spoiled, I can see people enjoying more as soon as I entered here" His deep voice makes me feel his presence even more, It feels different hearing him after 2 weeks.
I walk past him avoiding any encounter, and sit on the couch knowing the girls will get busy now with their boyfriends.

The party is going in full swing.

Mia and Luca are nowhere to be seen.

I am sitting on the same couch sipping my drink and enjoying the slow music. As the night goes I find my self relax alone.

I am wondering where Mia could be?

Jason and Rebecca are dancing flirtatiously whereas I can see Mr. Romano far away from the dance floor glued to his phone in the terrace area. His back is all that is visible to me and his body language gives away nothing but aggression.
