"This feels like kind of weird to everyone else right? Like, I feel like tonight is gonna change all of our lives." Cassie muttered as she watched the people around them dance.
"What do you mean?" Charity asked.
"Like what if these are the big moments in life? Like my mom always talks about like, this big monumental part of her life. But I cannot imagine being forty and looking back at this, like Wow." Cassie deadpanned.
"Yeah, but that's because most people peak in high school." Maddy said with a smile.
"I definitely haven't peaked so..." Kat mumbled.
"I don't think I've done anything for myself. I just really wanna spend time on myself after high school. Like, I've worked so hard to go to college because that's when the real fun begins but I don't wanna go." Charity said.
"I feel like I'm not even a person yet." Lexi grumbled.
"Yeah, I'm definitely at like, twenty five percent peakness." Cassie said jokingly.
