He never really thought about romance, a significant other, future family...
Love in general.
It's always been heroes, admiration, determination, saving and helping people, and then Kacchan- his best friend and hero partner, and being the best and greatest hero with the said hero partner, and a secured- safe future that is for everyone.
Never love.
Because Izuku knows, since he was four years old and the doctor said he was 'quirkless', he would never be the boy that anyone dates.
He would never be the boy that boys date.
And, oh...
He was right.
