I walked back to the dorm, seeing how the sun was starting to come up. I walked down the streets, seeing the other students walking around the campus. Some of the students studied me as they walked by. I eyed them as they murmured to themselves. "She must be mean," one of the students whispered to the other. I turned behind me and watched the two look back at me. They both studied me before they kept walking. "I'm going back to the dorm, she probably just wants a fight anyway," the student said again. The other chuckled. "She must fight a lot. Watch your back," the other said, as I turned my back to them. I watched them walk to the moon dorm as I sighed. I turned back forward as I lifted my head and continued walking. I looked to the left where a group of vampires talked and watched the scene. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but they were probably talking about me. I huffed as I slipped my hands in my pockets and continued to walk to the dorm, hoping to ignore the many chatters around me. I shifted the straps on my bag as I took a right, heading for the main part of campus. I stayed away from the others to try not to get into another fight. I had enough for one night. I looked at the sky, seeing it slowly shifting from black to navy blue. The grey clouds that kept the night cold, started to turn a lighter grey. The air around me started to warm up, as the sun began to rise. I blinked at the brightness, placed a hand over my eyes, and continued to walk.
I tried my best to keep out of the way of the other students, with the focus on going back to the headmaster's dorm. I felt a little tired from the rising sun. I started to pick up the pace as I came to the crossroad in the middle of campus. I looked around as I seemed to forget my way back to the headmaster. I scratched my head in thought. I started to take a whiff of the scents in the air, hoping to smell either Yuki or Zero. Knowing them, they would be escorting the classes again. I couldn't see them anywhere, so I just started to walk down a pathway. I walked more on the side of the pavement, trying to avoid running into the other students. I shifted my bag as I kept my attention on the scents around me. I ignored the gossiping students as I passed. I just figured that they were having a hard time adjusting to this like I am. I looked up at a couple of students as they watched me walk. I cracked a little smile and nodded, letting them know that I wasn't aggressive. The two cocked their heads in confusion at this. I replied with a smile as I looked forward and continued on my way.
....
About a few hours of walking around campus passed and I found myself in the woods. I stopped as I looked around, seeing the buildings getting fewer and fewer as I walked. I looked at my surroundings as I took a deep breath, trying to figure out where I ended up. I didn't see a gate or any signs of being off of school grounds. I looked ahead of me as I decided to keep walking. I gripped my backpack as I noticed that there weren't any other students around. I yawned as I looked to where the sun was rising, seeing it higher than before. I squinted at the brightness, as I looked around again. "Great, I'm lost," I said, with a huff. I took a whiff of the air as I smelt the warm air and the faint scent of vampires. My eyes widened as I focused on the scent. It didn't smell like a level E, but it was defiantly a vampire. Maybe a member of the night class was following me. I turned around and started back the way I came. "Oh well. I'll just retrace my steps. Maybe I can smell my way back," I said, as I started back on campus.
I kept an eye on my surroundings, not seeing buildings anywhere. Leaves and sticks cracked under my feet as I walked. I kept my hands in my pockets and eventually put my hood up to help shield me from the sun. I yawned as I shook my head to wake myself back up. I couldn't fall asleep in the middle of anywhere. I continued to walk as I looked over at the sky, then got blinded by the sun. I stood in place as I shielded my eyes. Footsteps sounded in the distance as the sound of a voice came ahead of me. I gasped as I realized that it was probably a human approaching. I looked around the best that I could and I found a low branch to the right. It was a fern branch, which provided a lot of shade from the sun. I quickly ran to it as I broke the branches a little more, then tucked myself underneath it. I faced the pathway, as voices spoke in the distance. "Do you think she's still around?" a calming male voice spoke as two vampires walked down the path. One was a man with short maroon hair and light blue eyes. The other was a woman that was a bit shorter than the man. She had orange-blond hair with greyish eyes. They were both dressed in the night class uniforms hiding under a giant umbrella. I tucked myself under the branch as my attention was turned toward the sun. I squinted my eyes as I winced and lowered myself to the ground.
