Once class was over, I cleaned up my spot and jumped off the cill. I slung my bag over my shoulder as the professor's voice rang through the air. "Fang, could you come down to my desk for a few moments?" he asked as I nodded. I stayed by the window and examined the moon while the rest of the class exited the building. More vampires were staring while they left. Most of the class looked at me as if they were judging me, but some students looked at me in worry for some reason. I took a deep breath and kept to the thought that it was the first time they had ever seen a wolf. I mentally shrugged off the idea and leaned up against the wall. I looked out the window seeing the moon glowing brighter than it did when I first entered the classroom. The clouds were light grey but showed white as they passed through the moon's glow. By the brightness of the moon, I could say it was three in the morning. Four more hours until sunrise. The trees rustled in the wind, and some of the branches were losing their leaves. I took a deep breath as I turned to the front, seeing the professor returning to his desk. I silently made my way toward him. I took a whiff of the air, the scent of vampires died down in the room until I made it up to the desk. The professor looked up at me as he stood tall. I could tell that he was defiantly a vampire. Pale skin and purplish-black eyes glowed down at me. His hair was neatly combed back out of his face. Just like the headmaster, he had a pair of glasses sitting on his face. I inhaled deeply and tried to relax. His scent filled my nose, which made me grip my bag a little harder. He looked down and took note of it. "It's alright. I'm not supposed to hurt my students. Even if you are a different species," he explained. I relaxed my hand but still kept it on the strap.

The professor sat in his chair. "Your afraid of vampires, aren't you?" he asked, as I gripped my bag and stiffened. He lifted his hand as he lowered it. "Relax. No one can hurt you in this building," he said, as I released my grip again. "Do you feel threatened by the class?" he asked, as I studied him. "A little bit," I said, as the professor took another deep breath. He tilted his head to the window. "Did the window feel comfortable to you?" he asked, as I nodded. "Yeah," I replied. The professor straightened in his chair. "What would help you relax here? Do you want a hammock in the window or something?" he asked as I shook my head. "No thank you. I just fear vampires a little bit," I explained. The professor nodded. "That's why you acted a little jumpy today. Did putting you in the spotlight like that make you uncomfortable?" he asked, as I nodded. "I see," he said in thought. I took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I have a fear of vampires because of my past," I explained. The professor studied me more. "I'm sorry. Do you mind at least telling me about it so that I can help?" he asked, as I looked at the floor. I looked back up at the professor. "My dad was killed by a vampire," I stated. The professor shot up in his seat. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. You must be very scared today," he said, as I nodded. "A little bit." The professor nodded. "Ok. Thank you for filling me in. I just wanted to see if you were alright," he said, as he picked up a thick book from his desk. It was a textbook, with a red cover. He handed it to me. "This is the textbook we're using for the class," he said, as I took the book. "It's not too heavy for you, is it?" he asked as I shook my head. "No, wolves are pretty strong," I said, as I tucked the book into my bag. "I see," he said in thought once more. I placed my bag on my shoulder again as I turned back to the professor.

He studied me in silence. "Fang, I want you to know that you can come to talk to me if you need anything. Also, if any of the other students are bothering you, come talk to me or Kaname. Alright?" I nodded. "Alright, thank you. But I think I'll be alright. It's just going to take some getting used to. That's all," I explained. The professor tilted his head to the left. I started to get a little nervous. I watched as he squinted his eyes at me. I took a deep breath to calm myself. "I'm making you uncomfortable, aren't I?" he asked, as I nodded. "A little bit." The professor took a deep breath. "Do you have any questions about anything? The class itself, lessons, anything like that?" he asked, as I shook my head. "Not at the moment. Everything was explained to me well," I said. He studied me for a brief moment before he studied his table. "Alright. You're dismissed. Have a good rest of your night," he said, as he went back to his papers. I nodded in return. "Thank you," I said, as I turned and headed for the door. I reached the handle when his voice stopped me. "Oh, and Fang," he said, stopping me in his tracks. My hand started to shake, as I turned back to him. "Something wrong?" I asked. He shook his head. "No, just wanted to give you the heads up that fighting is prohibited on campus and in class. So if the rest of the students are giving you a hard time, let Headmaster Cross or Kaname know immediately. Alright?" he said. I cracked a little smile at the new information. "Will do, professor," I said, feeling a little bit relieved. The professor smiled himself. "Good. You enjoy the rest of your night," he said, as I cracked a little smile. "You too," I said, as I left the building.
