"How much longer, Simmons?" Coulson tried not to sound impatient or rushing her on the gun bit then again he was hovering, pacing even, and he desperately wanted to get information out of their soldier, this was all understandable to Jemma, but...

Simmons looked up to him, "Sir, please... you've been asking me that for the past five minutes, my answer is still the same. Now if you don't mid, please let me w-," she was cut off by Coulson holding a hand up so he could listen to an oncoming message from May.

"Sir, I think you should come see this..." May told Coulson, she sounded off.

"Is it Skye?" He asked, a worried tone in her voice.

"Come see for yourself," May only replied, before her communicator ended.

Coulson exhaled looking to Simmons, motioning with his head for her to follow him as he turned to leave the lab. Simmons set the gun down and went to follow. "Another set back," he almost grumbled, speaking low to himself.

"What is it sir?" Jemma asked worriedly following in step right beside Coulson.

"May wouldn't say," Coulson sounded a bit worried.

"But it's something to do with Skye?" She guessed.

"And the prisoner, I assume," Coulson added a bit dryly.

When the two met Agent May, they all watched as Skye was sitting down with the soldier. Both were talking. Coulson stared at the screen baffled.

"They are talking?" Jemma said slowly as she moved pulling up a screen examining his vitals.

"How long has this been going on?" Coulson asked looking to May.

"Just a couple of minutes," she responded.

"Turn on the mic."

May did so at Coulson's request. Soon they were hearing everything the soldier and Skye were saying to each other. Their room fell silent for a moment as they listened to the soldier answer the questions, slowly almost at a difficulty, Coulson had noticed.

Minutes turned into hours. Their topics drifted to simple and more friendly talk, though Skye was doing more of the talking now. The soldier seemed at ease and more comfortable around Skye. Eventually Skye slowly had ended the conversation.

"Hungry?" She asked him as she stretched.

He gave a small nod, shrinking back into his shell. Skye hid her frown.

Skye gave him a gentle smile and gave his flesh hand a gentle squeeze. "I'll be back as soon as I can," she promised.

Winter gave a small nod and looked up to her. "Thank you..." He said softly.

Skye took a deep breath as she headed out the interrogation room. She had a feeling the others were watching. She didn't go to find them. Instead, she went to fulfill her promise, to bring dinner back to Winter.

She started to make sandwiches, a couple for him and a couple for her. Once they were made, she grabbed two bottles of cold water before making her way back to Winter. Pleased with herself.
