A week had gone by since the arrival of the soldier, he still refused to cooperate. He refused food offered to him and sat silent almost as still as a statue. It's what he was partly trained for. Skye watched him on the video feed as she read up on him with hydra files she had hacked that were hidden and not with the other secrets leaked out.

She felt very conflicted with the dark past of the soldier. If anything, she was more than just curious. She was waiting for her chance to speak with him but never was able to sneak past the others. She had tried earlier, but Coulson shot down her idea again. Even with her protest of him not keeping his strength up.

"He is strong, too dangerous, even without him eating. I'm surprised he hasn't cracked yet, though I really shouldn't given his training. Do not go near that door, Skye." Coulson ordered.

Skye sighed, "Alright. Fine." She replied.

Coulson left her there after that. Now alone in the hallway, no one was in sight. This was her only chance. She silently went to the door. Pausing a brief moment and biting her lip to take another look around before knocking on the door.

The soldiers head snapped towards the door, the first move he'd made today.

"Hey!" Skye called into him. He growled lowly in response, threatening.

Skye bit her lip, taking another glance again around. She had finally got her chance here. Now what? She didn't have a key to get in.

The soldier had looked away from the door again. Annoyance on his features as he sat there in silence again, resuming previous position.

Maybe if she could break in, Skye thought. Ah-hah! She then dug through her pocket for her lock pick. Once finding it, she started quickly picking the lock to get in.

The soldier's ear was trained to the sound outside the door, especially after he heard the click and then the sound of the door opening behind him.

Skye gave a small victory mumble as the door unlocked. She stood up slowly and cautiously opened the door before slipping inside, shutting the door behind her. She let out a soft gasp seeing the soldier glaring straight at her.

She stayed there for a moment paralyzed in a slight fear by his intense eyes before blinking and looking away and coming to sit across from him hesitantly. His eyes remaining on her while watching her every move. Coulson would kill her if the soldier didn't.

"Hi," she said, again, awkwardly as she looked to him.

The soldier glared at the unfamiliar face.

"I'm Skye..." she told him, hoping that an introduction would help break the ice, no pun intended.

The soldier glared at Skye. Lately he has been collecting more names and faces than he had cared to know. He just wanted to break out of here and go back into hiding.

"You don't like it here..." she spoke up again. "Who would? I mean... When someone takes you away from your freedom -again?" She babbled just to talk to him.

He raised an eyebrow an eyebrow at this. She was different from the rest, the others just skipped straight to questioning him. Nonetheless, his eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"I know it... sucks... I was where you were sitting once. Several times in fact..." She continued. "But we are the good guys..."

His eyes flickered down from her. Remembering he was told that once, by Alexander Pierce. Alexander Pierce, who in which told the soldier that he was the 'new face of HYDRA.' Bunch of bull shit if you asked him, he thought spitefully. Who knows if this situation would be any different from the last.

She looked to him, biting her lip, and leaned forward on the table slowly. "Want to tell me who you are?"

And there it was... he  thought.

"Just a simple name?" she asked gently, gnawing on her lip.

He looked up to her slowly, and gave a slight shake of his head.

Skye sighed inwardly. Figures, she thought.

The two remained quiet- him quieter than before.

Would he ever talk? Skye thought to herself with a frown as she sat back.
