"Yasmine he just pulled a me on me." I said on facetime with my bestfriend.
"What you mean?" She asked
"We're not in this together like i thought, i'm just a chess piece in his game." I said.
"Girl." She smacked her teeth. "He was just a chess piece to you too, you just wanted a reason to quit your job and you just happened to get assigned to this case? You know what i had to do to get you to be the one to get assigned to this case?" She said.
"Oh right." I chuckled.
"You a good ass liar too got lil ole Regina thinking you couldn't handle the case." She laughed and I did too.
"I told you i be having everybody wrapped around my finger." I chuckled.
"And the Oscar goes to." She dragged.
"Ms. Ryleigh." I smiled.
"So what's next?" She asked.
"Well we gotta dig some dirt on Regina so I can figure out what the chief putting in they head." I said.
"You know that Tiara girl be throwing subs at you on instagram?" She asked.
"No, i don't follow her or know her like that." I said.
"Well you know everyone has a digital footprint and when you told me how she came at you i had to investigate. It's not gonna be too long until she finds some more stuff about you and put it on the media." She said.
"You on that already?" I asked.
"Mhm, I just sent you her stuff." She said.
"Ok i just received it, I can use this against Mahzi since he wanna play." I said.
"Remind me not to get on your bad side." She said and I chuckled.
"Girl bye we grew up together you know me." I waved her off. "But i'm finna get this done right quick i'll text you, you already know what to do right?" I asked.
"Ten steps ahead, hurry up." She said.
"Okay." I hung up.
Going in my bathroom i put on a different color wig before putting on a ski mask not pulling it all the way down. I popped my nails off one by one sitting them all in a small container.
Grabbing my black finger nail polish, I painted each nail waiting for them to dry so i can apply the clear coat.
While i waited i scanned my closet trying to figure out what to wear.
Once i was finished I changed into all black and grabbed my black boots that was two sizes bigger than my normal shoe size. I grabbed everything else that I needed so I can hurry up and get this over with.

Once i pulled up to Tiara's house i double checked the address Yasmin had sent me to make sure i was at the right location.
