"So my dad is behind everything, I don't know what else to do." I sniffed. It was eleven in the morning and we were just in the living room talking.

"First you can stop crying, yo' eyes puffy and red." Mahzi said. I was crying all night.

"I don't know what you expect me to do. He's my dad and he doing all this stuff to me and you, I just feel betrayed, i'm not wrong for feeling how i feel. It's just easy for you not to care because you don't like him anyways." I said.

"Cause stop all that fuckin' crying shit." He gently took my hand away from my face. "Ryleigh." He grabbed my other wrist and looked at me. "You really he worth you crying like be for real on some real shit Amari." He said.

"You cried good enough when he "died" so what you crying for now?" He wiped my tears.

"Cause that hurt my feelings." I said while he was still wiping my tears.

"Yo' feelings can be hurt but he ain't shit he don't deserve yo tears. Do what you always do when you catch somebody in a lie illegally and gotta handle it. Cause what's the difference when you thought Regina was tryna get you killed? She raised you since you was 7 you ain't cry then so don't do it now. When you thought it was Regina we made a plan, just gotta do the same shit ." He explained.

"Okay." I said.

"So what you wanna do?" He asked.

"I need to talk to him." I said.

"Wrong answer." He said dryly and i huffed.

"I need to see what all i can notice and find out." I said.

"No." He said.

"We can just have another sit down Regina to see what really happened between him and what he was saying about my mom and get an idea of his motive behind the stuff with you and your dad." I said.

"You lost me at we." He said.

"Jahvier—You been abusing the fuck outta my government lately." He cut me off.

"You gone talk to her?" I asked.

"I guess." He mumbled.

"You probably think i'm a crybaby." I chuckled.

"Nah, ion think shit about you crying—not sayin like that but like i'm not finna judge you for crying a lot cause it be justified." He cut himself off.

"I don't think I ever seen you cry since i met you. Have you cried since we met?" I asked and he smirked before he let out lil laugh.
