[Minji's POV]

The next day, i got a call from Yoohyeon, she asked me to meet her at a restaurant which was where the press or media could easily find us, which meant she was now free from Hanni and i was glad about that.

While i was away, i stayed with Kai, we had our seperate bedrooms, he still despises me like he used to when we first got married.

I don't really care if he hates me or not i only care about Kiya, if she is really happy with him i will have to leave her and stop trying to get the custody.

I watched as Yoohyeon entered inside the restaurant, why did she look so hot after i left her? She was wearing a white suit, the same locate in her neck, her left hand was filled with rings, she was also wearing specs, her silver hair went perfectly with her white suit, she smiled at me and ran her fingers through her hair, she looked slightly nervous, she sat in front of me, "Am i late?" She asked.

"No, i just got here..." I replied.

She hummed and placed the menu in front of me, "I was in the meeting before coming here so i ate, you can order for yourself..." She spoke.

"I'm full too, I'll order a coffee for us." I declared. She gave me a short nod.

After i ordered a coffee for the both of us, i started explaining what happened yesterday after i met her in the elevator, "Kiya doesn't want to stay with you?"

"I don't think so..." I replied, clasping my hands together on the table.

"Then what are you going to do?"

"I don't know, I'll figure it out later." I whispered with a sigh. There was no way Kiya was going to agree to stay with me.

"So... Are you going to leave again? Do you have a job here?" She asked.

"I was planning to stay here after meeting Kiya, i do have a job here. I'm not going to leave."

"What job?"

"The cafe i started is going well for me, i opened two more cafes in this city..." I spoke. She released a slight gasp before speaking, "You're a cafe owner now?"

"Yeah..." I gave a nod.

"I'm so happy for you." She spoke gripping over my hands. I wanted her to tell me about her life, i had no idea what has been going on in her life.

When i asked her she said, "Do you not watch news channels or live news channels?"

"No... I didn't bother to look at those after leaving..."

"I became a leader again and won against my mom in the elections. Something crazy happened, when i was giving the speech, Hanni rushed towards me, she was going to shot me."

"Shot you!?" I exclaimed.

"Yes, my bodyguards took her away. I was really scared that day." She chuckled and continued, "For a moment i thought what my mom said was going to be true..."

"What did she say..."

"When i was in the cell, she told me that i should've died and i should meet the same fate like my dad..."

With the way she was talking, i could feel the bitterness she had for her mother, i wonder if she regrets doing what she did with her dad after so many years.
