Maddi woke in a blinding white room. She didn't know who or where she was. She suspected a hospital room since everything was white and there was the smell of ammonia.
When she looked to the left there was (yet another white thing) a white door. It was cracked open and she heard the light hum of voices. She was pretty sure she heard two of them. More than likely the doctor and at least one of her parents.
She felt something tightly wrapped around her stomach and head. When she touched them they felt like cloth.
She heard the door creak open and when she looked over it was a man with a light blue shirt on and a white lab coat over it.
The doctor she guessed.
He came in and almost yelled,"MADDIII I glad to see you woke up. I have to tell you that we had a close call there, with you trying to commit suicide. Now..." "SUICIDE?!I did not try to commit suicide."Maddi said, cutting off the doctor. The doctor looked at Maddi suspiciously and said,"That's not what I was told..." Maddi responded,"Well you were told wrong and what did you say my name was?Maddi?" with a little more attitude than was probably needed.
"Wait...you don't remember your name?" asked the doctor,"It's Maddi, Maddi Carter."
"Ok well...thanks. I kind of needed that. Now I need to tell уσυ the truth of what happened."
"No you don't need to tell me you need to tell the story to the police man outside.
"Ok so help me up"
"No,no,no,no,no. You stay here and he comes in нєяє."
"Ughhhhhhh. How long am I going to be in here?"
"No time for that. You must tell the officer the story."
"Ok"

The police officer came in a few minutes later. He was carrying a note pad.
He says,"Hello Maddi. How are you today."
She snorted,"Other than waking up in a hospital after almost being murdered...pretty good." This made the officer laugh. Then he started to ask questions. He asked things like,"Are you sure you remember this right?"and,"Do you know why they would do that?" Which honestly aggravated the crap out of Maddi. When he was just about to leave there was a small rap on the door and a small quiet voice that she wouldn't mistake for anyone else. She screamed,"MAEGAN!!!" as Maegan came barreling in. She had almost tripped while trying to hop on the bed.
While all this was unfolding, the two girls forgot about the police officer. Scaring the girls he said," I'll leave you girls to talk."
Maegan told Maddi about everything that happened at school after Maddi was taken to the hospital. Apparently the only thing anyone could talk about.
Honestly, Maddi didn't like this much attention...period.
I don't mind not being popular because honestly, the non-popular people are the best. That's why I really only hang out with people that are smart, funny, and un popular. No offense to my friends though.
Maddi was thinking about all of this when there was another soft rap on the door. Maddi looked at Maegan with a look of surprise and said," Come in."
The person who walked through that white door was the last person Maddi expected.
