Save Me!!~Chp 9~ Starting over is hard.

~three weeks later~
Braden woke up two days later. We were sitting in a recliner together at his friends house. He kissed the top of my head. I told him that I loved him. He responded," I love you too. You know how happy I am to be your boyfriend?"
"Do you know how happy I am to be your girlfriend?"
He giggled and put his nose to mine.
"Ewwww! You two are gross!" Said his friend Markus.
"Shuddup." Braden responded. "What ever." Markus said with an eye roll. Braden and I did start over. It was the hardest thing ever but we did it. I was happy when we did.
Braden looked at me and asked me if I wanted to hang out at his house on Wensday.
I told him yes. There was only Two weeks left of Summer and I wanted to spend as much of it with Braden as I could. He told me ok. We left a few hours later.

~Wensday~
My mom just dropped me off and I already feel different then usual at Braden's house. I think it was because his parents weren't there. There was also the sound of music. Weird music. I walk into the living room and it's dark, plus nobody's there. I walk up the stairs and look into Braden's room. He was sitting on his bed. He hadn't heard me come in I guess. I say,"Hey" Braden shook and looked at me with surprise."When did you get here?"
"Just a second ago."
"I was hoping you would come early."
"Why?" Just then Braden pulled me really, really close. He kissed my lips and didn't stop with that. He continued to do so. I was a little scared. Ok a lot scared. I tried to pull away but Braden was pulling me as close as he possibly could. I finally broke away. And he was angry mixed with surprised. He told me to do as he said and it would be fun. I was really, really, really scared now. I just did what he told me to do. I started kissing him like there was no tomorrow and it was amazing. He was right it was fun. He took off his shirt and I had to stop then and there. Making out? Ok. The other thing? No. "Stop we can't do this."
"Why not?"
"We're in TENTH GRADE BRADEN! We are sophomores!"
"So."
"Ugh no. WE CANT DO THIS!"
Braden laughed and told me to stop playing around. I told him I wasn't playing. I picked up my purse and left the house. I walked to my friends house, who lived down the street. Luckily she was the one friend i could tell her anything. Maegan. I knocked on the door and when she opened it she looked surprised. She asked," Maddi. What are you doing here?"
"Are you alone?"
"Yea."
"Can I talk to you?"
"Sure."
We walked in. Maegan's house was always really clean. We went up to her room and sat down on her bed. She asked,"What's up?"
I told her everything. All she could say was,"Wow."
"Yea"
"Your imagining things."
"What?"
I woke up. Whyyy???? Grrrrrr. Why am I so scared about today? Braden would never do anything like that. I don't think he would.... I jumped out of bed and grabbed some pop tarts. I threw them in the toaster, grabbed a "Sunny-D" ,and watched the toaster until it sprung. Eating quickly I scrolled threw my messages (I'd become pretty popular since I started dating Braden and all.😏) and got one from a random person.
Wait is that Abbie's number?
The message said "Maddi I need help! Come to my house when you see this." I was really scared. I threw on a t-shirt and jean shorts and headed out the door. I ran to Abbie's house which was conveniently across the street from mine. I ran inside and didn't even knock. I figured out a long time ago that her parents lived next door so Abbie lived by herself. A lot of people did it with High Schoolers. I went to her room and horror spread through my body. Jenn was standing next to Abbie, who was tied to a chair, with a gun to her head. She said to Abbie," Looks like our little plan worked didn't it?" Abbie whined.
"Jenn let her go!"
"Then kill yourself."
"Why?"
"So that I can have Braden back!"
"He won't want to date you after this is done."
"I'll make him!"
"Maddi don't do it please!!"
"Shut up!"
"Leave my friends out of this!" I jumped for Jenn as she pulled the trigger. It didn't hit anyone because I moved the gun just in time.
"Oh looky here Abbie... The victim becomes the hero." Jenn taunted, while pointing the gun at me.
"Abbie. Run."
"No!"
"ABBIE!I SAID RUN!"
She walked out of the room.
"You won't survive this time. I'll make sure of it." She pulled the trigger again, but I dodged it. I ran behind her and she fired again. She missed be but somehow shot herself instead. She landed with a thud on Abbie's carpet. She screamed in pain. I ran to her side. She told me to stay away. I tried to help her as much as I could without making her attempt to shoot me. The bullet went through her calf. I picked up my phone and dialed 911. Just as I was about to hit 'call' Jenn said," DON'T! THIS WILL GET YOU IN EVEN MORE TROUBLE!"
"Why do you care?"
"Because... I really don't care if you're dating Braden or not. I just wanted to make myself more popular somehow."
"So you tried to murder me?!"
"I know it was a stupid plan. Just hit 'call' I'll tell the cops the truth and get sent to jail."
"If this is what you want"
I hit call and when the operator answered she said,"911 whats your emergency?"
"Please. My friend just shot herself in the leg and is bleeding really badly!"
"Is this a prank?"
"What?NO!"
"Ok then where are you?"
"6084 Sunflower Seed Drive."
"Ok the EMS is on the way."
"Thank you."
She hung up. Jenn asked," You consider me your friend? Even after what I did to you and Braden?"
"Yea."
"Thanks."
"No problem. Hey I'm gonna make sure Abbie isn't hurt ok?"
"Yea that's fine." I walk out and into the living room. Abbie was sitting with her knees to her sheet and she was rocking back and forth. It was pitiful. "I'm sorry she dragged you into this."
"THANK GOD! Your alive! What happened in there?"
"She accidentally shot herself in the leg and I called the cops."
"Good."
