Save Me!!~chp 6~This? Again?

*Braden's POV*
I now know how Maddi felt when she woke up after being stabbed. You would wake up and barely be able to see becauee everything was so...so...WHITE. Blinding white to be exact.
I heard a beep and it made me jump. Turns out it was the monitor.
"How long have I been asleep?" I thought. All of a sudden I heard a groan. I looked around and Maddi was in the gurney next to me. She wasn't awake but she would be soon. I really didn't want to be around when she did. I tried to sit up but my leg screamed. I reached for my nurse's button and I pushed it. When they came in she had a look on her face that kind of scared me.
She screamed," HE'S AWAKE!!!" as she ran out of the room.
Well that's not a good sign.
A few seconds later the nurse and a doctor came into the room.
"This is great! Did you by chance hear anything from her?" Said the doctor as he pointed at Maddi.
" I heard her groan when I woke up."
"That's good too. Nurse I would like you to skip one dosage of her medicine. And if she doesn't wake up after that skip the next. She should wake up after that."
" Ummmmm how long have I been asleep?"
"Almost two days."
" Holy crap."
" It's only because of the pain medicine though."
" Okay that makes me feel a little bit better."
" I'm going to go help the patient in room 403. You press that button if she wakes up."
Another groan from Maddi and I said," I think that's gonna be pretty soon."
" Me too." he responded.

*Maddi's POV*
I was waking up in and out for like ten minutes before I finally sat up in bed. I heard a rattle and a gasp. I looked around and saw Braden. He reached for the nurse's button and pushed it. It appeared as if he had been reading a magazine. Seriously National Geographic? Well I know he likes animals now.
Braden must have read my mind because he said," It was the only one around..."
" Oh ok.... Ummmm how long have we been asleep?" I responded.
" Two days...."
" Geez."
" Yea......"
I looked around the room and realized that I was in hospital...... Again." ugh"
" what?"" Why am I In the hospital... Again?"
" oh yea....I figured you might forget that. Did you forget the part when we kissed?"
I turned as red as a tomato before answering," No."
" That actually makes me feel better, I don't know about you."
I nodded my head and the nurse walked in and paged the doctor. He came in and said," Glad to see you awake again, Maddi." " Hi Dr. Nielson."
" How do you feel?" he asked." My stomach hurts the worst." I responed. He said," Well that's were you were shot so it makes since." With a shoulder shrug. The doctor walked out of the room and shut the door. I started talking to Braden. He said," I'm sorry our date put you in the hospital again."
" Yea its fine. As long as I don't have to stay here as long."
"I'm falling asleep again so good 'night'." Braden rolled over and went to sleep. I looked around and eventually dozed off.

*two weeks later*

So I just found out that Braden and I leave tomorrow! He was asleep when I found out.
When he woke up I practically screamed," WE CAN LEAVE TOMORROW!!!"
" What?" He asked. "We can leave tomorrow!" I said slower and quieter.
"That's great!" I get up and hug him. As I back away he pecks me on the cheek. I say to him," Your amazing and no matter what happens I want to be with you."
" Me too... Except I need to add one thing... I love you."
" I love you too."
We hug again and I go lay back down in my bed. The nurse walks in to give us our last dosage of medicine, hopefully ever, and when she walks out I thought" I love you? He loves me? EEK!" That was the last thing I thought before I fell asleep.

*Braden's POV*

So Maddi just screamed at me about something I couldn't understand. I asked her," What?" She said," We can leave tomorrow!" Quieter and ALOT slower.
"That's great!" I yell.
She ran over to me and gave me a hug. Just as she started to back away I kissed her on the cheek. She told me that I was amazing and that she wanted to be with me no matter what. I responded to her," Me too.... Except I need to add one thing...........I. Love. You."
I don't know if she heard me pause between words but, I was nervous because I didn't know if it was to early or not. I was relieved when she said," I love you too." back to me. We hug again and goes to lay back down. The nurse walks in and gives us OUR VERY LAST DOSAGE!! I'm so excited that I can leave tomorrow. Two and a half weeks in a hospital can get boring.
All I could think about, before I went to sleep, was the fact that Maddi said," I love you". I hoped she was thinking about it too. I dozed off really slowly but very surely. Eventually I was dreaming. There was two children playing on a plastic playground in a back yard. I heard footsteps come from behind me and a voice said," Isn't it beautiful outside today, honey?" I turned around and it was Maddi. Obviously aged but still in the late 20s.
I started to say something but I woke up from someone shaking me. When I opened my eyes my parents were standing over me saying my name. They said," Braden wake up. It's time to leave." I looked over at Maddi and she was still asleep. I wondered if she had dreamed about me.
I sat up and started to sort everything into piles.
When I was finished Maddi was still asleep and her parents weren't even here. I got up and asked my parents had they heard from Maddi's parents? They said,," No. hurry up!"
" What's the rush? I kinda want to be here when Maddi wakes up."
" Why?" They asked.
"Because she's my girlfriend..."
" Oh yeah. We can wait a few more minutes."
" Okay"
Three minutes later Maddi woke up and her parents still weren't there. I was sitting right next to her though. She said," Your leaving already?" With a small giggle. " I have a few more minutes so I figured who else to spend it with then my girlfriend?"
" Thank you."
" For what?" I asked.
" Everything. Are my parents here yet?"
"Ya know I noticed that but didn't want to disturb you cause your so cute when you sleep."
" Ha. I think your parents want to leave. Love you."
" Love you too." Braden stood up and walked out.
