LORENZO'S P.O.V-
Violet.
She. Is. Adorable.
She was running circles in my mind as I stood in the locker room of the boxing club. I could not get her out of my head no matter what I did.
I don't know why but I just wanted to grab her and hold her to my chest forever. She was precious. She cared for others so genuinely.
She was like a little rabbit. Running around with this beautiful smile. She looked so cute when she pouted every time someone teased her. Her waist-length hair was always everywhere and she always struggled to keep it together. By the end of the day, she was always done with it and tied it up in a ponytail. She also had these sparkling eyes that you could get lost in forever.
I wanted to know what that felt like.
But I was stupid with her till now. I always dusted her off and was rude to her.
I could see it affected her a bit differently when I pretended not to care about her but I just had to make sure of something before opening up to her-
"She is so hot dude!" a voice cut me out of my thoughts. I looked behind me and saw one of the sophomores messing around with his friends.
"Who?" one of them asked. "Violet, the new Junior. Like holy shit I wish I could just-" he continued.
But that was when I stopped listening and started seeing red. I started heading his way to have a little chat, but Leo stood right in front of me.
"Move" I said in a threatening voice.
"Nope" he said shoving me into the lockers "ALL OF YOU GET OUT AND HEAD TO THE RING" he instructed everyone as he turned back to me.
Everyone scurried out, but as soon as I went to leave, his arm stopped me. He was really getting on my nerves right now.
"We need to have a talk" he said as I waited for him to continue "...about Violet"
"What about her?" I asked rolling my eyes but my heartbeat picked up.
"I know you like her so just make a move dude" he advised.
"I don't-" I started but he continued to get on my nerves but interrupting me.
"Of course, you don't" he rolled his eyes "So you won't mind if I ask her on a date-"
I slammed him into the locker before he could finish that sentence as I grabbed his collar "She's. Mine" I said in a low voice that I did not know was possible.
"But you just said that you didn't like her!" he argued. I could see the sly smile on his face. I really dug this for myself.
"I DO OKAY!" I yelled gritting my teeth. his eyes conveyed his cheeky grin of victory "now don't you dare make a move on her"
I heard him let out a chuckle. It was filled with annoyance as well as amusement.
"THEN STOP BEING AN ASS TO HER AND BE NICE BEFORE SHE STARTS HATING YOU" he yelled pushing my grip on him away "do I have to beat you up before you get that through that thick skull?"
"I know. I know. I just had to make sure those assholes from Devil's' were not a threat. You know how they can be" I explained and he make an 'o' face "and you can't beat me in a fight for shit".
"Did you sort them out?" he asked.
"Yes almost, but that bastard Michael is giving me a hard time" I explained, I had to do something about him. It would be bad if he got to her when I wasn't around.
"Now will you let me go out and beat that piece of shit?" I asked as I started walking away.
"don't get suspended" he laughed.
I took off my shirt and got in the ring. "You" I pointed at the sophomore from earlier "In" I instructed. He let out an arrogant snort before getting up and rolling his eyes.
THIS FUCKTARD-
I stretched while waiting for this slowpoke. This was going to be good.
We circled each other. Usually, I would wait for the opponent to make the move so I could teach the beginners watching us, but hey, I wasn't the captain so why bother?
I started landing punches on his annoying face and it felt nice. I beat him up till he fell on the floor with a broken nose and a black eye.
"Geez, dude! What are you doing" he complained.
I got him in a headlock and whispered "If I catch you looking at her even once... it won't be good. And tell anyone who looks at her that she is mine. Also don't ever talk about a woman that way you piece of shit".
I got off him and headed to the lockers. I wasn't in the right mind to box.
"I'm out for the day" I told Leo. Yes, he was the captain. I had the offer first but I refused. It was too much responsibility. Also, I didn't wanna deal with those young arrogant shitheads.
"Enjoy" he teased with a laugh. I could practically see him wiggling his eyebrows even though he was behind me. I flipped him off as I walked into the shower.
After a nice, relaxing shower, I got dressed and headed out the building to my car.
I smiled remembering how annoyed I was that someone had taken mine and Leo's spot in the parking lot, but as soon as I found out that it was Violet, I asked Leo to suck it up and find some other spot.
That sucker could manage.
I got in and drove to one of my favorite places in the whole damn world. This café that was kinda close to Eastwood. I hadn't visited much this past week but I did plan to visit more often from now.
I walked in and sat at one of the window booths. I ordered a black coffee and was just about to take a sip when the door jingled open and the person that walked in put a smile on my face.
I was quick to wipe it off though.
