Narrator POV

Damian Brando died on December 1st 1888 at the age of 19...

Following his demise Jonathan now had the chance to finally put an end to the nightmare created by the Brando siblings. In one final battle, Jonathan faced Dio, now even more enraged over his brother's death.

After a difficult and brutal battle, Jonathan emerged victorious! His mastery of Hamon and growing knowledge of the Vampire's abilities allowed him to overcome his opponent!

It seemed, the battle had been done. The remains of both Dio's and Damian's bodies were burned, preventing them from regenerating and the stone mask that gave them their abilities was SMASHED!

The nightmare, was thought to be over.

Two months of peace passed. Jonathan had married Erina Pendleton, the very girl he'd first met mere hours before Dio and Damian entered his life. The two were to sail to America on their honeymoon and were saw off by their friends.

However their voyage would be struck with tragedy. In perhaps yet another twist of fate, Wang, the Asian Apothecary who had sold the Brando siblings the poison that had ended their own father's life and almost that of George Joestar, had managed to smuggle himself aboard the vessel.

While the ship was out at sea, Wang made his move. After the events at Windknight's Lot, the zombie had managed to recover the head of DIO, STILL VERY MUCH ALIVE! And with this, it wasn't long until the ship was entirely OVERRUN with zombies!

In the ship's hold, Jonathan was once again confronted with the severed head of Dio. Now being kept in a glass container held by Wang. This time though, Dio had the intent of taking Jonathan's body for himself! Avenging his brother in the process!

Another fight was imminent, the result of which caused a huge explosion within the ship! Wang's body was destroyed however not without Dio's Space Ripper Stingy Eyes hitting Jonathan head-on.

His fate was sealed. In his final moment, he instructed Erina to save the life of an infant girl who's parents had been slain by the zombies. Once she'd agreed, the Joestar heir sat down, the head of his mortal enemy in his arms.

Despite everything. EVERYTHING Dio had done, in that moment, Jonathan just cradled the head in silence. His final words were as follows.

"Dio. Like you said, our fates might truly be one in the same. I feel an odd warmth towards you, the same I felt towards your brother. I can't tell you how much I wish he was here now. Now though, our lives are bound completely. And they will vanish along with this ship."

His mind drifted to his wife who watched with tears in her eyes as he rasped out "Fare... well... Erina." As fire completely consumed their surroundings, Dio attempted to plead, however he received no reply.

Jonathan Joestar died, February 7th, 1889 at the age of 20...

Erina and the baby did survive the ordeal. They hid within the coffin and were eventually found just off the coast of the Canary Islands a day later. She would vow to pass on the truth of what had happened, starting with the child she was pregnant with.

Years would pass by, Jonathan's friends would mourn his death. The infant girl Erina rescued would be given the name Elizabeth Joestar and Erina would later give birth to a boy who would be named after his grandfather, George Joestar II.

The events that transpired between Jonathan Joestar and the Brando siblings would never be forgotten by those who witnessed it. The story of Damian Brando came to an end. Though even then, where one story ended, another would begin.

There were still questions left unanswered. Who made the stone mask that started it all? What was their purpose? Were they still out there? Somewhere on the Earth, hidden away from prying eyes, an ancient evil slumbered...

When the time came, they would awaken...
