I sit on the edge of the Forrest as I see a human boy walk up to the Forrest edge. I hide in a nearby bush as to not be seen by him I watch the human look around almost looking to be lost.
I try to shift my weight but a small twig snaps. I freeze and look up towards the human.i know he has seen me at this point because his eyes widen. I stay couched down for a good few minutes before he starts walking closer to me or at least I thought he did.
I run away from him so that he doesn't get ahold of me. I run as fast as I can to make sure he isn't able to follow me. By the time I got back to the village, sunrise was about to start so I just got to work on my chores.
I can't help but think about the facial expression that boy had on his face. It was almost as if he was scared of me. His eyes widened when he saw me but I don't know why.
I get caught up with my thoughts and don't notice my father walk up behind me. When he says my name it spooks me and I turn to him quickly. He smiles down at me. I look at him shocked to see him but return a smile.
"How was your night?" he asks me. "It was ok" I lie. "I've been thinking about adding you to the warriors" he says. I smile big. "Really?" I ask. He nods and I hug him. But the thought of the boy popped back into my mind
