It had been about a year since the group went down the paths, and it was finally the day they would start to go home and Julia, who had gone to visit the genie tribe, was the first to arrive, wearing a new outfit.

The rest arrived soon after, the rest of the group arrived, having visited the time masters (for Gavin), the fairies (for Vanessa), the griffins (for Skeet), the telekinetic (for Reeve), the mermaids, sirens, and sea monsters (for Mira), the dragons and phoenixes (for Kai), and the hybrids (for Adam). Not including Adam, they wore new outfits, too.

Suddenly, crystal warriors appeared out of nowhere and started attacking the group.

"Uh! What are these things?!" Kai shouted mid-battle.
"I don't know!" Adam shouted back.
The battle eventually ended, and the group went on a flying boat to plan their next move, since every place in the town seemed to be covered with the crystal, not to mention the crystal warriors. They also noticed crystal zombies roaming the streets.
