This is also a Kai X Adam...
Kai was the first to dig himself out of the now-ruined blimp. He checked himself and sighed with relief. He only had a few minor scraps and bruises. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he spots legs stuck under a closet.
He ran over, pushed the closest over, and gasped. The person who was stuck was Adam.
"Adam?!" He shouted.
Kai then heard moaning behind him. He looked behind and saw some crystal zombies. They had heard his scream.
"Come on." Kai said, putting Adam's arm over his shoulder. "We have to get out of here."
He ran as fast as he could. The crystal zombies followed him. Kai wondered why there were so many crystal zombies in town. He then saw. David, his butler...but he wasn't himself. He was a crystal zombie, too. And then Kai realized...
...the crystal zombies were people from the town.
Another realization hit him...
...it had a connection to the crystal warriors and the fact that his town was...um...crystalized?
He eventually made it to his (now abandoned) house. He ran inside and barricaded all the doors and windows that lead inside. He ran into his basement.

He sat Adam down, and gasped.
Adam was more hurt than he thought.
He had a big, running scar across his face. But it didn't look too deep, so Kai wasn't so worried about that. What did worry him was Adam's leg. It was sitting in an unusual position, so Kai assumed it was broken.
"Don't worry, Adam." Kai said as he used a piece of his best friend's clothes to cover the scar. "I'll take care of you. Just please, open your eyes."
