Guilty or Innocent?

This morning has been anything but clear. My memories of last night were hazy. My head is pounding. Questions about Louis' whereabouts kept attacking me from the TV, my sister and my father. I just needed to get out of here, I need quiet. I need peace. Most of all I need Louis.

I managed to let my dad let me go out for a little while to clear my head. He was worried about me, Louis moving here was like my psychiatrist probably told him a mental strain on me being sane.

I leave through the hole in my fence in the backyard. I haven't used that little escape since I started having bad 'episodes' of all the trauma I went through during Mrs. Tomlinson's murder investigation.

My house was near the edge of town, and our town was surrounded by woods. A step out of my fence and you're basically surrounded by thick trees. There was a little clearing through the woods from my fence, only evident to those who knew where to look. I made this clearing when I was five so Louis and I could sneak to each others houses. Down the trail is a little creak, and by it Louis and I had created a little safety house. Not really a house but an old shed that was abandoned a while ago. We cleared out all the clutter that someone had forgotten and placed old blankets and mats.

I slowly walked in and laid down on the worn out blankets. It smelled of old rusted metal but it was somewhat comforting for me. Every time I felt anxious or experiencing a panic attack I would come down here.

"You still come here."

"I knew you would too," I sighed.

"You have to believe me," Louis whispered as he came out from hiding near the corner.

"You know I want to," I muttered.

"Leanne, someone is trying to frame me."

"Louis I want to believe you but I can't."

"Why would I kill someone the first day I get out of jail?"

"I don't know."

"All I know was that Zayn told me the cops were on their way and the first thing I did was come to you," he confessed.

"Zayn told you that?" I asked confused.

"Yes," he nodded.

"Louis you can't hide here forever," I said.

"I know I'm going home soon, my aunt called our lawyer. I just wanted to tell you in person that I did not do this," he said as he took a step closer.

"I just need time to think."

"Okay, I'll see you around Le," Louis nodded and left.

"Where were you?" Sera said as she opened the door.
