Leanne's POV:

First period in Mrs. Ray's class was pure hell. I literally felt the glares and nasty thoughts that were directed to me by my peers. I sat quietly as I pretended to listen to Mrs. Ray's analysis on the Crucible. I had a 94% average in her class so it was a good excuse to not pay attention once in a while.

The blaring bell had snapped me back to reality. I quickly gathered all my books and left with the rest of the class. I tried to creep to the middle of the large group so Louis wouldn't try to talk to me again. I needed some time to think about his arrival.

"Leanne," Erica yelled from down the hallway.

"Hey," I waved.

"So, I heard socio's been tagging along with you all day," she said as she kept her voice at a low level.

"Yeah well, he needed help finding the class," I shrugged.

"You're not going to, you know, get close to him again are you?" she asked nervously.

"Maybe," I muttered before I stopped to open my locker.

Everything I touched felt cold today. The hallways had a chill to them, the classes seemed dreary and even touching my locker sent chills down my spine. He was getting to me, this was not good.

"Are you going to History now?" Erica asked as she glanced at me before she returned to typing on her phone.

"Yeah, I've got Mr. Miller right now for history," I sighed.

History had always been my least favorite class. Its not like I hated the subject, it was just the way Mr. Miller had got around to teaching it. We basically had lectures everyday about everything that happened in American History.

"I've got history with Kerns," she replied.

"At least our classes are close," I smiled.

"Yeah, thank god," she rolled her eyes and laughed.

We walked down the halls to the history wing. All the history classes lined one side of the hallway while the math classes lined the other side. My class was right opposite a large glass wall that showed the creepy woods that my school was built right next to.

Most of the time, the sun would not penetrate the heavily wooded area thus not shining any light into our school. Everyone hated to walk down these halls, especially when we had night events such as sports or concerts.

I shivered as I paused by the glass to tie my shoe. Erica left soon after since her class was close by. I slowly picked up my books from the floor and headed to Mr. Miller's class.

As he lectured us on Andrew Jackson's presidency, my mind headed in a million different directions. Louis coming back was definately not what I had mentally prepared myself for. My senior year was supposed to be the best year of my life. It was supposed to be smooth sailing, with parties, boys and fun.

This was no fun. Now Louis just turned everything upside down, and shook it vigorously. Making all my plans for the year crumple and burn.

Yet something about him intrigued me. There was something about him that made me want to go closer and closer. This something was dark, I knew it. I knew it was dangerous yet I was getting addicted.

"Did you hear?" someone whispered.

"What?" the other person asked.

"Socio is going to Lydia's party," the person said.

"Oh shit," the other person said.

Those two idiots clearly did not know what whispering was, since soon the whole class was talking about it.

I felt uncomfortable sitting there talking about how Louis was a sociopath, I slowly got off my seat and left the class. I headed down the cold hallway to the bathroom.

"If it isn't Leanne," a rough voice said.

I turned around to see Zayn leaning by the locker.

I rolled my eyes before I answered, "What do you want Zayn?"

"You."

"Oh shut up I've got to go," I said as I turned away.

"I'm serious," he hissed as he grabbed my hand and pushed me against the lockers.

"What's going on here?" a soft yet oddly firm voice asked.

Zayn whipped his head to around, as I leaned to the right to see who my savior was.

My breath hitched for the second time in one day. Those bright blue eyes turned a dark icy blue, that stared hard at Zayn.

"Leave us alone socio, we're trying to have a moment here," Zayn muttered before he brought his attention back to me.

"Let her go," Louis said slowly.

"Or what? You're going to kill me too?" Zayn laughed.

"Leave her alone," Louis said in a monotone voice.

"You just ruined our moment socio," Zayn  sighed.

"Maybe next time babe," Zayn smirked at me before he walked away.

I let go of my breath which oddly I didn't know I was holding. I slowly massaged my wrists where Zayn had gripped onto.

"Hey are you okay?" Louis asked as he stepped forward towards me.

He took my hands in his as he lightly touched over the slightly red markings on my wrists.

"I-I'm fine," I stuttered.

"You sure?" he asked, as he raised his eyebrow.

"Yes," I nodded.

I pulled my hands away from his touch and smiled slowly.

"I gotta go back to class," I said before I started to walk away.

"Hey Leanne?" Louis asked.

"Would you like to go to a party with me?" he said quietly as he took a step beside me.

I turned to face him, his hands were shoved down his pockets. His face was pale, while his eyes were staring at me.

"Well, erm- you see, Lydia and I aren't exactly-" I started to explain my complicated relationship with Lydia but Louis cut me off.

"You're my plus one, she said I could bring anybody. Never mentioned your name," he shrugged.

"Uh," I didn't know how to respond.

"Please, I don't really know anyone here," he said.

"Guess we both will be attending the party of the year," I shrugged and walked away from him.
