The worst day of the week started; Monday. Well at least for me it's the worst day, just seeing weekend ending is painful. But now it was different because the trip to Kyoto was about to begin.
For the rest of the weekend, my mom helped me pack my things and kept giving me advices on what to do if I got hurt or lost.
I hope nothing like that happens, I really don't want another injury.
The fact that we won't be sleeping in a tent but in a normal building was comforting, I don't even know how long the bus ride from school to Kyoto will take, but I'm guessing a long time. Only a few hours, so at least I can get a longer sleep in the bus.
I woke up a little earlier in the morning so that I wouldn't have any problems if there was little time left. I didn't hear from Bachira over the weekend, we texted a few times but that's all.
I'm just nervous about what Rin did to him that Saturday outside for 'training'. Let's just hope it was really just a football training and nothing else.
"Yoichi, do you have everything you need? Nothing left to grab?"
"Don't worry mom, I think.. I think I have everything I need" I reassured my mom as she was waiting for me in the hallway. 3 days is not much, I take it as a relaxing trip with school. Sharing a room with my crush is something I'm looking forward to, even though I still feel embarrassed about what happened at the sleepover and when he left my house.
And when he kissed my cheek too.
"Ah- You said you and Bachira will be in the same room, I think it will be normal for you now right? You slept here together recently-"
"M-Mom-! Don't say it out of the blue.." I whined embarrassingly as I put on my shoes and gray sweatshirt. My cheeks were red again, it's just so hard not to have flashbacks about what happened.
The idea of us cuddling together again in the same bed is nice, but I don't think it will happen. What if the teacher himself catches us? Yeah, Mr. Aizawa would be speechless for the rest of his life.
I stood up energetically and took a bag on my back and a small suitcase with things in my hands. I turned to the direction where mom was still standing with a smile and went to hug her.
"Say hello to dad for me, please""I will and be careful, Yoichi. Enjoy your trip and come back safely"
"You have my word, mom"
We said our goodbyes and my steps went down the hill. The sun reached my chest and warmed me. The suitcase kept pulling me down and down as it couldn't stay in one direction. It was annoying but I made it to the main road itself.
The cold wind hit my face and hair, it was refreshing thought but I hope it will be warmer in the afternoon.
Along the way I tripped a few times carrying those things behind my ass. People sometimes looked at me blankly or laughed. Well, I wanted to go underground and never come back.
"Shit, come on just a little longer, Yoichi.." I mumbled under my breath.
After a few minutes, I arrived at the school campus, or rather at the school parking lot, where the buses had been waiting for us for a long time. For a moment I stood as still as a tree, watching for familiar faces if they were there.
I met a few people I know; Nagi with Reo, then Chigiri, Kunigami, Barou, Rin and-
Rin and Bachira?!
My eyes fixed on them, they were standing there talking to each other. Of course, otherwise, so they have been here for a long time. I started walking towards them slowly, rather uncertainly. Why is it suddenly so embarrassing? Nothing has changed about Rin, he's still the same bastard.
