After Jim and the others were gone, I was left on my own to guide the trolls to where the bridge was. It took around 15 minutes until I even saw Deya running to us.

"The battle is ahead, you're late Deya!" I shouted playfully and pointed to it as she ran up to me.

"Yeah, yeah, let's get moving!" She shouted as she came running by me with the amulet in her hand. "By the way, did you say you were the princess from the future? I didn't know you liked us trolls so much you decided to become one!" She laughed and teased playfully. I can't believe she's not the least bit surprised to know I could come back in time!

"It's to save Jim's life! I-I actually fell in love with him when my childhood self met him! Since then I've kinda chased him around and now we're sort of a couple!" I shouted back to her and couldn't help getting so flustered admitting it.

"Ugh, you'll always be a fleshbag but I still love ya, y'know!" She shouted which absolutely blew my mind. She loves me?

"R-Really? Deya I'll cry if you're not careful it's been a long couple days!" I warned with a quick laugh.

"You've always been sensitive!" She laughed which made me glare, "I'm going ahead, see you there soon!" With that, she raced far ahead of me. I'm pretty winded but I managed to keep going. The sun had completely set and the battle put into motion. It looked horrific. So many were injured or dead and it hadn't even been started for long.

As new situations came up in the battle, I found ways to counteract them. For instance, there was a build up of gumgum soldiers in one area that I managed to completely obliterate. I managed to aim my magic and make it combust in that area very well! Of course I had my eye on Jim as well and noticed the happy look on his face when he realized I did that.. He looked so proud though, I couldn't help a bigger smile when he looked my way.

I did what I could from afar for a long while. As I watched, I saw something happen to Jim. The stone was pushed into his chest a bit farther and it made him sort of.. Angrier? No, maybe beastly? It wasn't good, it was a magical effect. I made a mental note of that for the future.

By the time Deya had opened the portal to the Darklands I was completely exhausted. Holding onto a tree wasn't too hard from where I was so I wouldn't get sucked in but I also had to help some others on our side not get sucked in with my magic. As soon as the portal closed, Hisirdoux made sure we all got to the castle flying over our heads. I didn't realize it could fly but I found out.

"Jim!" I shouted happily after Claire opened a portal for me. I met everyone on the ship, Jim looked pretty hurt. "A-Are you okay? I told you not to push it!" I scolded as I checked him for injuries before letting him rest on my side. He's so heavy.. But nothing I couldn't handle.

"I'm okay.." He told me softly with a smile.

"Everybody ready yourselves, we don't have much time," Hisirdoux told us as he stood at some sort of glowing control area. "I'll dial us in for when we left," he said and did something with his magic bracelet.

"But what's gonna happen when we get there? The danger we escaped, it'll be waiting for us and Jim's still hurt" Claire asked by Hisirdoux's side in rightful fear.

"I have to wait until we get to our time to remove the stone, Morgana said it has to be done that way," I told her as I grew anxious myself, "I just hope I have enough power to do it.." I muttered with a lowered head. I should've preserved my strength!

"Ophelia, Jim is-.." Hisirdoux walked over to me with this expression I knew all too well. It broke me inside immediately seeing it.

"Ready to face the inevitable!.." Jim cut Hisirdoux off as soon as possible, even stepping away from me to make sure he stopped in his place.
