*William's POV*

I watched as my dear sister struggled against Alice's hold, screaming for Edwards's release and all that ran through my head was...

Holy shit, I'm related to that, and thank the gods that's not me! Aro eventually put a stop to poor Edwards's suffering, sadly.

"Jane," Aro recalled her in a tranquil voice.

The child looked up quickly, similar to a bunny or meerkat when they heard something and she was still smiling adorably, but her eyes held questioning. Why was she being interrupted?

As soon as Jane looked away, Edward stopped twitching and Aro then inclined his head toward Bella as a silent command to Jane, who turned her smile in her direction.

"This may hurt just a little."

        ... That's it, I'm adopting her!

Edward quickly jumps to his feet and moves to stand next to Isabella while giving me a weirded-out look. I stare at him blankly while imagining the many ways I could kill him with fire.

He looked away pretty quickly after seeing that as Aro's laugh brought my attention back to the others. Torturing the teenager can be resumed later.

"Ha, ha, ha," he chuckled as he clapped his hands together. "This is wonderful!"

Jane huffed in frustration and was slightly leaning forward like she was preparing to rip their heads off. My poor murder muffin.

"Don't be put out, dear one," Aro said in a comforting tone, placing a powder-light hand on her shoulder. "She confounds us all."

She nodded before turning around and walking to stand beside Caius who pats her head with a reassuring look and then turns back to the court. Are they all co-parenting the twins?

"So, what to do with you now?" Aro sighed as he flickered his eyes to my sister and the Cullens.

The group stiffened at his words and Bella began to visibly tremble while darting her eyes over to me. If the kings decide to kill them, I'll step in.

"I don't suppose there's a possibility that you've changed your mind?" Aro asked Edward hopefully. "Your talent would be an excellent addition to our little company."

I could see Edward hesitating before he answered and I could tell that he was trying to keep a straight face. From the corner of my eye, I could see both Felix and Jane glance at each other before grimacing.

Damn, not even they wanted him.

Edward seemed to weigh each word before he spoke it. "I'd... rather... not."

"Alice?" Aro asked, still hopeful. "Would you perhaps be interested in joining us?"

I almost felt bad for the incredibly dramatic king.

        "No, thank you," Alice said.

Oh, look! Someone does possess some manners. Perhaps you should take some notes, Edweirdo. The boy gave me a swift glare and then returned his attention to the matter at hand.

"And you, Bella?" Aro raised his eyebrows, his smile ever present.

Edward hissed at him and Bella just stared at Aro blankly. He was joking, right? Like hell am I explaining to Dad how his daughter joined a cult while in Italy?
