Despite the freezing cold air around the darkened city of New York, you were sweating buckets.
The construction site on the outskirts of the city was abandoned and eerie when you and the brothers entered along with April. It was almost too empty.
That's when you noticed the vines.

The dark greenish-brown colour of the spiked vines made you suck in a breath. You had to warn the others. Had to warn them that he was here.

Your feet were sore from running while also jumping out of the way of vine after vine. It's like the like had a mind of their own, like an octopus' tentacles that's kept slashing out from behind corners trying to whip you, or grab a hold of you.
The vines kept coming out of nowhere.
Bursting out of the ground or launching at you like spear around different corners.

You just kept running, just keep running. There were no signs of the turtles, the familiar look of their green skin. No sign of April either. Still, have to warn them. Need to warn them.

You ran behind a trailer trying to catch your breath as you bent down low.

Then you felt something cold slither around your ankle. The spikes that littered these vines scratching agenst your skin.
Carefully, spear in hand you went to attack the vine, only for a vine to snatch it, throwing it into another trailer across from you.

Colour was draining from your face. 'Okay don't move, do not move. Do not make a single sound.'

The ground rumbled beneath you. 'Oh spirits above, please no'
Immediately you got up, ripping your leg from the vines and jumping up to climb the trailer with great effort.

Once ontop of the trailer you rolled onto you back then into a sitting position.
Taking a peak at your leg you could see multiple scratches along with one big one. Probably from ripping your leg away like that.
You looked down at the vines, only for one to have a pointed edge going straight up through the ground from where you were sitting.
'Warn them.' Your mind spoke up. 'Warn them.'

Looking around the trailer you were on top of there wasn't much. A few machinery off to the left, the bones of the building behind you and a bunch of stacks of wood and metal to your right.
Maybe splitting up was a bad idea.

Right! Your phone!
Immediately you took out your phone, switching it on, looking for the app Donnie installed a while ago on case of emergencies. Quickly going to press on it your phone buzzed.

The screen said and you Immediately answered.

''Hey, nothings here.'' Leo said, a picture of Leo he set as his icon for you on your phone all you could see.
Then in the phones reflection you seen vines creep up on you from behind.

''Shit..'' You muttered.
Leo agreed.

''Yeah it sucks-but hey! Now we can watch that movie-'' Leo chirped, voice growing excited, though you had no time for that.

''No, I mean-oh Fuck-!'' You yelped as a thorned vine grabbed your upper arm, thorns digging into your skin as you quickly put your phone in the other hand and tried to run away.

''Hey, What's going on? Y/N?" He asked voice worried.

'''Get off of me!'' You argued, finally getting your arm free, only for another vine to come at you with a loud, Thwack!
