It was just a normal very normal happy sunshine day.....okay I'm kidding it was NOT

my darling husband forgot to inform me on a very large matter considering a young girl in a battle field and who he took in and I had to hear about it through a guard instead of him himself I stormed into my husband office without knocking

"Excuse me but when where you gonna inform me on the news!!!" I burst in yelling all he was doing was sitting there with some papers in his hand he simply looked up with a unimpressed look

"Hello so glad your home and safe and weren't you supposed to be gone for 2 months " was all he said in a monotone voice and that pissed me of more

"Don't you hello me why was I not informed on this matter I could've help this poor girl sooner" yep I was royally pissed I adore children and this poor girl has had to deal with this stubborn man for 2 week's breaks my heart the poor thing

You see during the middle of the war a town nearby was getting attacked by demons I couldn't just Stand there and watch innocent people die so I defended it to the best of my abilities..sadly I didn't come out of the fight unscathed I got a broken arm from being thrown into a wall and my ankle got sliced so I couldn't walk for a bit, Abel came to my aid sadly I passed out and was in a recovery place a bit away

"Honestly I'm gone for 2 weeks and all hell brakes lose" at my last sentence he gives me a grim look and I immediately shut my mouth currently my arm is in a cast and Im barely able to stand on my leg

"Yea about that" I brace myself for the lecture ahead

"I told you to stay at the recovery house for 2 months to heal not 2 weeks I get your angry but don't be a idiot here especially when being a idiot got you injured in the first place" I breath out yea I kinda snuck out of the house took a carriage here and stormed through the front down and now saying all this I'm starting to feel like a idiot but I was worried for that young girl it's terribly cold here and my husband is not the most welcoming man on the planet

"Okay okay I'm sorry" I look up at him and he crosses his arms and looks down on me then sighs I close my eyes and smiles only to feel warmth wrap around my body

"Don't scare me like that again I genuinely thought I lost you for a second and that terrified me" I blinked then wrapped my one good arm around him

"Can't make any promises but I'll definitely try to be more careful" I hear a light chuckle and we break apart

"So can I meet this young lady?" He give me a deadpan look

"Okay but no baby talk you hear" I smirk

"No promises" and with that he leads me to a lounge and there was a young girl standing there with long gorgeous white hair and piercing red eyes when the door opened her attention snapped to us I immediately ran over to the young girl then knelt down so I was her hight

"Hello young one I'm Y/n heilon this grumpy looking man's wife" she's looked at me with wide eyes she seemed to be having a conversation with herself then she spoke

"My names Fiona green my lady" she tried to bow but I stop her with my one arm

"No don't do that and no lady or madam just call me Y/n okay Fiona" I gave her a smile and she just looked at me before giving me a forced side smile, what's this girl been through to have come here and to have been a mage on the battle field that was another reason I was pissed before, sending a literal child there what was he thinking

"Your so skinny have you been eating enough" I look up and glare at my husband what has he been doing

"I'm okay mada- Y/n I've been getting food and nice warm clothes nothing to worry about" I frown slightly at her wording but then giver her a smile

"Say I have a idea why don't we ditch this and me and you have some quality time together" I stood up and offered my hand you her

"It's up to you Fiona you have choices here no one is gonna make you do something you don't wanna do" she looked at me stunned then looked at my outstretched hand then took it and I smiled

"Now if you'll forgive me my darling handsome husband of mine where gonna spend some quality time together" all he did was sigh but before he could turn around I let got of Fiona's hand and walked up to him and wrapped my arm around his neck and he warped both of his arms around my waist and I gave him a kiss in the lips

"I love you Abel sorry about before I had tunnel vision when I heard about what had happened" he shook his head with a deadpan look

"No it's fine also I'm glad you home safe and sound" I then heard the sound of a loud cough and we turn to see Fiona there with a smirk

"Sooooo are we gonna have this 'quality time' or are you guys gonna give me a sibling" my eyes widen what has this girl been taught to know this, I immediately went to the girl

"Little miss what on earth was your schooling?" She gave me and smile not a forced one this time a genuine smile

"I know a lot of things Y/n" it was my turn to give her a smile

"Okay little miss why don't we go down to the kitchen I'll meet ya there in a second okay" she tilted her head then gave me and nod and walked in the direction of the kitchen as I walked passed my husband I whisper in his ear

"The sibling thing doesn't seem like a bad idea" he gave me a smirk

"You are not in any condition for That and also I thought I said no baby talk" I give him and smile and walk out the room
