Okay how shall I describe mine and Claude relationship well for starters we've know each other for many years childhood friends I was only really close to Claude and not his brother we grew up together as we were both part of royal families and I pretty much lived at the castle

I was there on the day he met Diana honestly I love the couple together and was glad to be apart of there life together me and Diana became very close friends and practically sisters my nickname for her was Dede, I was the first one to be told of her pregnancy and I cried like a baby from the amount of happiness

Sadly that happiness didn't last long as it was soon discovered that if Diana had the baby she would pass away Claude begged her to get rid of the child and Diana refused it was the middle of the night when I awoke to a knock on my door I opened it to find Diana there tears streaming down her face so I invited her in

She began to tell me everything on what was going one

"What should I do I want to bring this child into the world but" I finished her sentence

"Claude's scared of losing you" she nodded and I held her hands

"Listen to me Dede it's your choice you are the mother and have say on this if you want to keep the baby Claude's gonna have to suck it up....sadly I can see where he's coming from I don't want to lose you" I felt tear on my face and me and Diana held each other in the end despite Claude's wishes Diana had the baby and passed away in the process

It was a stormy night when she went into labour me and Claude couldn't go in due to traditions since we where royals luckily me being a female I got a couple of minutes to speak to Diana before she was fully dilated I entered the room to see her on the bed with sweat running down her forehead

"Looks like it's time" I say holding back tears she smiled at me and beckoned me to her, I knelt down and took her hand

"We don't have much time so I need you to promise me something" I nodded

"Anything" she gave an angelic smile

"If I die look after my child and Claude" I froze and she continued

"Please I know he's not going to take this well and I need someone to look after them both" I felt my tears slide down my face and I nod holding her hand tighter

"I promise on my everything that I will look after them both but you must promise me that what ever happens you'll be happy Dede" she smiled at me then started screaming in Agony

"Princess you must leave now!!" One of the nurses say to me and I shake my head holding her hand as if my life depended on it

"No I'm not leaving her!!!" The nurse sighs

"I'm sorry princess it's tradition" Diana smiles signalling me not to fight, the nurses drag me out and I yell before the door closes on me

"DEDE!!! please be okay" All she did was smile and that was the last time I saw her, Me and Claude where waiting together for news

"She'll be fine...she'll be fine" was all Claude repeated over and over I was pacing my heels clicking the floor each time I took a step finally the nurse walked out with a bundle of blankets her face in tears my heart sank into my stomach

"A princess had been born....however the mother has passed..." everything after she said that was a blur all the words that came out after where incoherent noise, Dede had died shes gone I just remember feeling numb and everything was happening in slow motion Claude yelling taking one look at the bundle and walking away and just then

"Wh..whaaaa!!" Crying was heard and it finally snapped me back to reality the nurse was in front of me and passed me the blanket I look up confused

"I overheard your conversation with miss Diana I think she would want you to keep living and you have a promise to keep" I blink still not registering what was going on until I looked down in my arms weren't just blankets but a light blonde haired child with very pink sink from just having been born and these crystals blue eyes which showed that there where related to this country emperor

Tears built up in my eyes and I clung to the baby and just crying over the tragic loss of my dear sister and her mother who she would never get to meet

When Diana was still alive she said if she was to have a daughter she would be called athanasia and thus the baby was named at the beginning a nanny was assigned to athanasia lucky it was someone Diana and me where good friends with lilian and I visited as much as possible

Claude was another story he was lost and depressed after losing Diana he didn't once go see athanasia since she was born I tried every way I could to get him to open up to me but he wouldn't

One day I saw a shift in his behaviour even Claude's guard felix was confused he had completely forgotten about Diana and athanasia every time I brought it just he just looked blank and emotionless

time passed and due to sources outside our control me and Claude where married but neither of us where happy about it we never consummated the marriage instead sleeping in separate rooms it felt like I was betraying Diana marrying him

eventually time passed athanasia was growing up and I must say she acts almost like a adult at times but I love her none the less we where quite close along with Lilian often having tea together

Me and Claude got a bit closer as time moved on but not enough that we where a happily married couple it still was weird how he had completely forgotten Diana hell a good chuck of his memories with me where gone we may be childhood friends but we truly got close when Diana came into the picture it was three Musketeers and with that part of his memory gone out friendship was back and us knowing everything about each other without talking much

Then one day that all changed it was the day Claude and athanasia finally met properly once that happened everything kinda fell into place we all started spending more time together and we all developed a bond when athanasia fell Ill coughing up blood both of us where Their to take care of her and see her become well again

through the years watching athanasia grow up together me and Claude became closer and closer we had hardships as much as any person but now it didn't feel like we was simply married because of things out of our control we weren't In love but we did love each other Diana and athanasia was number one in our hearts and that would never change

When Claude finally got his memories back it was late at night and we where sitting together in his office

"Thank you" was all he said and I look up confused

"For looking after athanasia all this time" I smile and shake my head

"It wasn't just me Lilian and felix both looked after her, we all just wanted her to grow up happy and with you being out of commission someone had to do it" he looks down guilty

"Look I think we can honestly say we're not in love right?" And he nods and I smile

"Diana and athanasia are our main girls and that's never gonna change so for the sake of keeping at her safe we now both look out for her" Claude gives me a smile and nods and I hold out my hand

"Deal" we say together in the corner of the office and red eyed blonde haired spirit smiled at the duo knowing as time goes on things will get better

"I love you three" was all she whispered like a whistle in the wind her voice not to be heard yet the duo still got the message
