"WAKE UP!!!" The sound of the alarm along with Miso unnie's loud voice, I jumped and fell of my bed. Still not completely woken up and having the feeling of still wanting to sleep, I laid down on the floor. I heard groaning, but I chose to ignore it. I succeeded until someone was pulling me up.
"Get up. We're having breakfast. Then we're having training." Minjae unnie said.
"Do I have to go now?"
"Well, Ari is also sleeping..I guess you guys can come a bit late."
"Kay, I'll go wash up now." I grabbed a hair tie and tied my hair while walking to the bathroom. Grabbing my toothbrush, I put toothpaste on it. I thoroughly brushed and gargled. After that, I washed my face clean. I finished washing off the cleanser I had slathered on and tightly closed the tap. I grabbed the towel and dried my face.
A faceless face.
I was standing there, shocked. I didn't know what to do. Just then, the faceless face turned into something else. No, it didn't turn into another thing. It began showing features of the face. The eyes, nose and structure was defined. It was the next thing that made me scream. The lips formed. It wasn't just lips. The ends of the mouth were twitched up. Something about it made it more terrifying. Somehow, the smirk tied everything together.
"Everything alright?? Open up!!" I heard the door rattle, but that didn't divert my attention. My attention went to the words that were forming.
I'm coming for you.
It was written in blood. I screamed and the image laughed. It chuckled, cackled that made me scared more than ever and fall to the ground. That's when I heard the door of the bathroom fall. The image started disappearing. Everything, but the words were gone. I felt a presence near and touch my shoulder.
"Oh my- Oh, it's you." I felt relieved knowing it was Ari. She helped me stand up.
"What happened? You okay? Why didn't you open the door?" Ari questioned me, motioning to get out. I stopped her. I grabbed her wrist.
"Look."
"What a-"
"The mirror." I pointed to the mirror.
"Oh fuck. That's scary. Let' get out first." I agreed and closed the door shut behind me.
"There was a face too. Kind of." I sat down on Ari's bed while she applied her makeup.
"What do you mean kind of? Aren't you getting putting makeup on?"
"No, I have the eyelash extensions, remember? At first, it was faceless. Then it a face started forming. The mouth was last. It was a smirk, but something about that smirk tied everything together that screamed murder." I shook my head, trying to get the image out.
"At least it's over. Hey, there is no such thing as too little. Eyeliner?" She gave me a sweet smile and handed her black eyeliner which she loved. I smiled back and took it.
"Fine.. Give me a mirror." She squealed and gladly handed me a hand mirror she had always kept. I usually didn't wear eyeliner, but when I did, I didn't do anything too fancy. I only drew along the outline of the line. Nothing more. After, I curled my lashes and started putting on mascara.
"So..what do you think about the training?" I closed the mascara bottle after I finished and grabbed the most perfect peach color lipstick. I smiled a bitter smile before answering her.
"I don't..I don't know to be honest. It seems okay. What about you?" I kept on staring at the lipstick in my hand.
"I don't mind either. It's just Kris who's our step bro. Other than him, all them guys are single, and hopefully ready to mingle. Hey, what's wrong? You've been staring at it for like an hour." She scooted closer and I opened my mouth to speak, but only a laugh came out.
"I..This is the lipstick that..that I wore when Joshua first asked me out, when we went on our first date, when we had our first kiss and..you know." I bitterly looked at it, almost crying.
"Oh, honey..baby..sweetie. Don't cry. It's okay. He's in a better place now. In fact, I bet he's watching over you right now." She placed one of her hands on mine and her left arm over my shoulder.
"I..I haven't worn this in so long. I didn't even know it was still here. Not only that, but I saw the ring and necklace packed too." I stood up and walked over to one of my bags that had the accessories along with the countless amount of hair ties. I picked the ring up and I slid it where I used to wear it.
"Looks good. I think you should keep it on. I honestly do think wearing the necklace would just finish it. I know it hurts, but at least you have him on you." She smiled and I looked at her, smiling a little with a tear falling.
"Yea. I think so too." She smiled and I gave her the necklace to out around my neck as my moments with Joshua came as flashbacks.
"There. All done." I touched the necklace and smiled. When Ari started walking to the door, I followed her while wiping my tears away.
"Thank you. I love you Joshua." I whisper one last time before we go out the door.
