~It's Valentine's Day, and Robin Buckley would be damned if she didn't make sure that she'd give Nancy Wheeler the best Valentine's ever as their first time enjoying the day as a couple together~
Word Length: 10,875 (longest oneshot ever!!)
Tags/notes: mostly sweet/romantic, also soft dom/sub dynamics, not that much though, praise kink, porn with feelings, fluff too, porn with plot cause I like adding plot which is half of this length lmao. Dom Nancy, Sub Robin, but Robin acts as a service Top for the first part of this to treat Nancy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Robin has been with Nancy for almost a year now. They got together last April, shortly after everything with Vecna and both of them realizing that they had feelings for the other. At 10 months in, it's currently February, a month that Robin always used to have a sort of distaste for, what with it being the month of Valentine's Day. The halls of high school would be filled with over-the-top displays of affection and asking people out, couples making out in the hallways, and dramatic last minute breakups or heartbreaks. As a closeted lesbian, everything was so grossly heterosexual, that it had been hard to do anything but power through the day of Valentine's Day and the ones before and after it. Head down, earphones in, pretending to be somewhat interested in the romantic lives of her straight 'friends' at the time.
Now, though, it's different. Sure, she may be a little biased. But if scolding her past single self for being jealous of and disgusted by the couples that would partake in the holiday, is what allows her to enjoy her first Valentine's Day as someone in one of those 'sickly cute' relationships, then so be it. Besides, she should get some leeway to have been put off before when school still wouldn't have been an enjoyable or safe space for her if she had had a girlfriend during her time there.
Out of school though — and still working at Family Video with Steve, figuring out a career is hard, okay? — she doesn't have to worry about being forced to walk through those hallways unable to even hold Nancy's hands without a slur or two being thrown her way. All she has to focus on is making this an enjoyable day for Nancy. Hopefully a pleasurable one too, though Robin can only nervously wait until later.
When she first brought up the topic of Valentine's Day to Nancy and asked what she'd want to do, the answers she got were mostly along the lines of, 'whatever you'd want to do too, Rob. I trust you if you want to plan anything'. Which is sweet and it made her heart swell from happiness, but not as helpful as she'd wanted. Thinking about everything and even writing down notes whenever work got too boring (Steve would insist on giving her advice but Robin frankly did not expect Steve to know what Nancy would like), Robin had gotten set on ideas. Nancy had been stressed the past couple weeks as alongside her, Steve, and even Jonathan, she'd put off going to any college for a year with the trauma from Vecna having affected their entire crew of kids and adults. But Nancy plans to start this year. Robin remembers what it must have been like stressing about acceptance letters last year, but now Nancy is having to go through it all over again. She hasn't gotten anything back yet, and even though it's only February, Robin can tell that it's bothering her. It's been harder for Nancy to be still and relax, and she's often found pacing or lost in thought with worried looks on her face.
Using that information, Robin had decided she wanted to lean into something relaxing. Something to help Nancy finally relax a bit more and just enjoy herself and be calm. Something Robin knew she needed.
She impatiently taps her fingers on the counter she's leaning on, gaze flickering over to the clock every few seconds. Unfortunately, she and Steve could not weave their way out of working for the day— apparently Keith has some date that was deemed more important than anything Steve and Robin have planned. Robin knows that Steve doesn't exactly have a 'date' planned, though she's certainly been suspicious of the plan to 'hang out' with Eddie whom Steve has been eyeing with intensity for weeks now. Both of them, however, have their plans later at night though, which certainly helps, at least. At exactly 7pm when they close, Nancy will come pick her up and, unfortunately, also get Mike, Max, and Lucas from the arcade and take them back to the Byers' residence. Then, the two of them will drive to Robin's place where she's already got most things set up, and the rest will go as it goes. She's aware she's a little nervous, not just because she wants this to be something that makes Nancy happy, but also because there is a lot of potential for things to go in a... sexual direction. As much as Robin really wants that and knows Nancy would too, she knows that normally Nancy is the one 'doing' things, per se, and Robin wants this night to be about making Nancy feel good. Something she isn't as experienced in.
