Purple Eyes.

Disaster strikes.

Jesse, Reuben and Petra walked a bit further into the cave. Soon settling at a more lit up area. Jesse looked to the side, spotting a chest, and a crafting table. "You just keep a crafting table down here?" He asked.

Petra nodded "yep. Comes in handy." She said, "and since that wooden sword of yours is busted..."
Jesse smiled "you're giving me a new one??" He asked
Petra shook her head "even better. You make your own. There's stuff in the chest for you to make it. One stick and two stones. Don't grab anything else." She instructed.

Jesse smiled, giddy. He'd finally have a stone sword. "Thanks." He walked over to the chest, opening it and looking through it "hey uh. Is this stuff yours?" He ensured to ask. Scared they were stealing from someone. Petra sighed "No, we’re just stealing from whoever was dumb enough to leave this here. Of course it’s mine." she responded sarcastically. "Okay! Just making sure" he responded.

Jesse stood up and walked to the crafting table, holding two cobblestone and a stick. He set the stick on the bottom middle. Setting two cobblestone above it. Watching as the materials shook, fusing together, into a stone sword.
He smiled looking at his finished work. Reuben squealed in excitement seeing it too.

"See, isn't it better when you make it yourself?" Petra asked, smiling.
"Yeah, really is" Jesse agreed, nodding. "Anyway. We should probably head to Endercon right?"
Petra nodded "yeah, probably. Plus. Don't wanna be late for the meeting."

Petra and Jesse began walking toward the mouth of the cave. Walking onto the wood of the start of the bridge.
Petra looked toward the town "whoa, Endercons all lit up."
Jesse looked over to the town. Frowning a bit "awe.... Lukas and his Ocelots won again."
"Sorry Jesse, but you've gotta admit. That beacon looks pretty cool." Petra said, looking at Jesse with a sympathetic smile.
"I know it does. I was just really hoping this would be the year we won. And we probably would have if Aiden didn't light it on fire along with Reuben with lava." Jesse said with a sigh.

Petra blinked "he did what?"
"Lit our build and Reuben on fire." Jesse answered.
"We gotta teach him a lesson at some point then." Petra mumbled. She looked at Jesse in determination. "I'll talk to Lukas about it. Maybe he will talk to Aiden. Everything will be okay" she reassured, giving Jesse a comforting back pat as they started walking again.

"Remember what Endercon was like before it was cool?" Petra asked. Jesse smiled "remember what we were like before we were cool."
Petra snorted, trying to hold in a laugh. She looked at Jesse with a sigh "some of us. Will NEVER be cool." She responded. Jesse huffed "what, so only you are allowed to be cool?" He asked, giving Petra a soft, playful shove. Petra just laughed more.

The two stopped  laughing, hearing Reuben squeal.

Jesse looked at Reuben in confusion, following his gaze as creepers walked into the bridge from where they were heading. "Creepers!" He shouted. Him and Petra turned around to head back into the cave only to be stopped by another group of creepers, along with zombies within the mix.

"Shit!" Jesse shouted. Petra looked around "this isn't looking good. There's only one way out of here." She said.

Jesse looked around. He ran hitting a creeper into the group of creepers behind it after using flint n steel on it. The creeper fell into the group of mobs behind it, exploding. Jesse sighed, grabbing Petra's hand and Reuben. "We jump." He decided.

Jesse jumped off the bridge. Panic jumbling his thoughts as him, Petra, and Reuben fell down. He took a deep breath, calming down. He looked at Petra nervously smiling. Petra smiled back then paused, gasping in fear seeing a creeper fall behind Jesse. Jesse, seeing her fear, quickly turned around to see the mob. Punching it into the mountain, exploding the side of it and causing chicken feathers to spread as chickens on the mountain freaked out. Reuben covered his eyes as they all landed into the water.
