The Recruitment

The sun was just beginning to rise over the city of New York as Ethan found himself standing outside a nondescript building in downtown Manhattan. He received a mysterious invitation, inviting them to an interview for a highly classified government agency. Ethan did not know what to expect, but they all shared a feeling of apprehension and excitement.

As he entered the building, He saw two other strangers holding the same invitations. The male looked about 30 years old and of Hispanic descent with short, black hair and a neatly trimmed mustache. He has a medium build and was wearing an old worn tailored suit he was standing against the wall tapping his foot impatiently.

The Women's appearance shocked Ethan, She looked 20 but her application showed that she was 28 years old she is of mixed race, with short, curly hair and bright green eyes. She has a toned, athletic build and is wearing a flight suit.

She had a determined look in her eyes like she was ready to take on the world.

"She is beautiful," He thought to himself.

The lady walked up to him and shook his hand.
"I'm Ava, Ava Lee." She said shaking with a firm grip and her piercing eyes meeting his. She radiated confidence.

"That's Ricardo, He's not much of a talker, trust me I tried."
She stops shaking my hand and points to the Guy standing by the wall.
Ricardo grunts "uh high I guess..."

Ethan smiles at both of them and introduces himself "High nice to meet you both, my name is Ethan Nguyen, but you can just call me Ethan."

Ethan realized that like him None of them knew what to expect,
Well except for Ava, her confidence made her seem like she knew what to expect. But still, all three of them shared a feeling of apprehension and excitement.

They were greeted by a stern-looking woman in a black suit who led them through a maze of hallways and corridors to a small room. There, they met a woman who introduced herself as Agent Johnson, the head of the Nexus agency.

"Good morning," Agent Johnson said, her voice deep and commanding. "You are here because you have been identified as potential candidates for the Chrononauts, our elite team of agents who travel through time and space to protect the multiverse from those who would seek to destroy it."

Ethan exchanged confused glances with the other candidates. Travel through time and space? Protect the multiverse? It all sounded like science fiction.

Agent Johnson continued. "The Chrononauts are a select group of individuals with unique skills and abilities. They are warriors, scientists, engineers, and strategists. They come from all walks of life, but they share a common purpose: to defend the Nexus and the multiverse from those who seek to exploit its power for their own gain.

We believe that you all have the potential of becoming Chrononaut's.

Ethan was speechless. He had always dreamed of being a part of something bigger than himself, but he never imagined that he could become a member of the elite Chrononauts. "Why me?" he asked.

"Because you have a natural talent for science and a curiosity for the unknown. You have the drive and determination to learn, and you possess a rare gift: the ability to see beyond the surface of things and into the deeper mysteries of the universe."

Ethan felt a surge of pride and excitement. He had always known that there was something special about him, and now it seemed that his dreams were about to come true. "What do I have to do?" he asked eagerly.

"First, you must undergo a rigorous training program to develop your skills and abilities. Then, you will be sent on missions to explore the multiverse and defend the Nexus from threats both internal and external. But before we can begin, we need your answer.

Will you join us?"

Ethan didn't hesitate. "Yes," he said firmly. "I'll do whatever it takes to become a Chrononaut."

Agent Johnson smiled. "Welcome to the team, Ethan. Your journey begins now."
