Previously, scientists used to believe that the Earth was flat. It was later on that they found out that the earth is spherical/egg shaped. Quran mentions in Chapter 79 Verse 30: "And we have made the earth egg shaped". Who could have known this before scientists even found out over 1400 years ago?
