Sam's POV:
I sat there at the orphanage. Everyone had a good reason to be here, but not me. Well, I do have a reason, but no one would believe it. I didn't even believe it! My secret. My inner power. I had to stop him arming it, but I was just too late. BAAAAANNGGGGG!!!!! I remember the flash. I had grown into a giant to stop it, but I was too late to destroy the bomb. It exploded and I shrunk back to my normal size. I had failed.Hope's POV:
Sam didn't look happy. He, well, seemed kinda down, and that isn't like him. It was free time, so I went to ask him what was wrong. Before I got there, he charged to his bedroom. "Poor kid," I muttered, and headed after him. This just wasn't like him. I may be his only friend, but he's still usually a cheerful guy. I knocked on the door, but I got no reply. All I heard was him sobbing. I tried again, but I still got no reply, so I walked off.Sam's POV:
I heard the footsteps getting quieter. Who had been there? I didn't want the owner to come, because she would lock you in a dark cellar if you cried, to toughen you up. I looked through the keyhole and saw Hope walk off. Oops. "Hope!" I shouted. She turned round. "Sorry, I thought you were Mrs Johnson!" I told her. "Why were you crying?" She asked. "I was thinking of how my parents were killed." I explained. "Oh..." She finally said, and walked off.
