Hope has long, ginger hair which is untidy and uncombed, pale skin and is wearing a prison-inmate-like outfit, which the orphanage made her wear.
Sam has short, brown hair which is sticking up all over (due to a lack of a comb), skin like Hope but more tanned and a ripped outfit (ripped due to a close encounter with the dogs) like all of the other orphans.
