Fall leaves slowly descended off of the trees outside U-A's windowed classrooms. One week had passed since the house battle, the calendar inching ever forward towards September. 2-A was knee deep in pop quizzes, training, and other challenges that they had to face together.

But nothing would be more challenging than teaching an old dog new tricks.

"Today's lesson will be-" Hisakawa started, only to be interrupted with the sound of her ringtone going off multiple times. It eventually shut off as she shot it a glare. The instructor looked at the device with disgust, walking over to her desk and throwing her bag over it.

"As I was saying, today's lesson-" It rang again. To her it sounded like nails on a chalkboard. Yuriko leaned over the desk, throwing her bag off the phone and taking it to the air. "I'm going to BREAK this thing if it beeps again." She declared, shaking the device around as if trying to torture it. She looked quite mad, and that notion was told to her by her students' bewildered faces. They stared at her intently. Some confused, some worried. As soon as she caught their gazes, the woman held the phone still, clearing her throat as she admitted defeat.

"Actually, nevermind. Today's lesson is to help me figure out this stupid phone." Hisakawa said, hiding her embarrassment with her hand. She walked over to her podium, swiveling it around and placing the phone on top of it. A few students got up to examine the device.

"Oh it's NEW new. I haven't seen this model before." Iromegane Kuro observed, admiring the high quality screen. Hisakawa nodded, only slightly annoyed by her student turning the brightness up on the phone.

"Heroes get the latest tech as soon as it's produced. Some companies do it for PR, but these were ordered by Principal Nezu." She said, gesturing towards it. "He gave me the phone because he thought it would be easier if students and staff had my number."

"What did you have before this?" Akechi Chiyo asked. Hisakawa bent down to grab her bag, pulling out a small Nokia cell phone that flipped open with some force.

"What is this?" Baisho Ikari asked, grabbing it from her teacher's hands and messing with it. After hearing the buttons click one too many times, Hisakawa snatched it back with ease.

"It's a flip phone." She said while snapping it shut. "I didn't use my phone at all before teaching. If someone needed to contact me, they either sent an email or sent me a direct voicemail to my visor." She pointed at her ear as if she had her hero visor on. Ako Bagu walked behind her, taking her flip phone and using it as if it was from his own generation.

"You had 3 contacts and their names are all boring. All Might, Gran Torino, and.." he squinted at it, the name unfamiliar. "Rokurinsha?"

Hisamoto piped up from the back of the class. "Isn't that a ramen place in Chiyoda City?"

"Give me that," Hisakawa demanded, taking back the flip phone and putting it in her pocket. "They have very good prices.." she mumbled, smoothing her hair back. Her students went back to figuring out her new phone.

"Where are you getting notifications from?" Kimura Suzume asked, handing Hisakawa the new phone. The instructor went to the messages app, showing them the private messages she gets from other teachers.

"Teachers group chat. It mostly consists of Present Mic complaining about the weather. He apparently likes the summer" She said through a groan, scrolling up as far as she could. "It's a daily thing now." Musen walked next to her, his hand open to be handed the phone. Hisakawa slowly gave him the device, watching as he pushed a button on the side.

"There, now your phones on silent." He said matter-of-factly. Hisakawa let out a sigh of relief, smiling warmly at him.

"Thank you. I do have a few other questions," she asked, and he nodded for her to go ahead. "Why is the keyboard so small?" Her question was met with him turning the screen horizontal. Her eyes widened slowly. "Oh wow.." She remarked. "Can I download music on this thing?"
