David starts to regain consciousness as his cheeks swollen due to getting punched by Maine. He finds himself hanging upside down-being grabbed by the leg by Maine as if he is a doll.

"How about we flatline him?"he suggests,"Scavs gonna find him valuable"

"But he still need a ripper for that",Pillar added.

"You heard that? I should rip the dang thing off myself!" He roared,"That should teach you not to steal other people's shit!"

"Don't make a mess in my room.", Lucy added.

"Stay out of this!"

"Excuse me? I was the one that found him.", she said as she gives off a displease look at him.

The scene that is happening caused David's mind to be full of questions, begging for an answer as his curiosity starts to take over.

"Did you lied to me?", David asked Lucy.

Maine tells David to shut up as he slaps him again.

"Tell me, kid. What the fuck are you doing with my sandevistan?", Maine asked.

"Your sand-"

"Yeah, the one I bought from my supplier. Except the moment i paid, she fucking ghosted."

"That's what you get for paying upfront", Dorio commented.

"Dumbass", Pillar continued.

"Shut it!" Maine barked, "She's our people. Said she needed cash real fast. Guess everyone's a grifter nowadays."

The sound of the door opening caught everyone's attention. A boy with a black hair and red eyes walks through the door while whistling which syncs up to his steps. The boy stops whistling and greet everyone.

"Sorry I'm late. Got caught in a traffic." the boy says sheepishly," so what's the hustle?"

"Man, you're late! We're almost done here!", Pillar scolds him.

"Didn't thought you come here, Garito", lucy added.

"I'm sorry. Like i said, i got caught in a traffic ", Garito smiles as he scratches his head sheepishly and he then see a familiar friendly face." David?! Wait. Mind telling me what's going on?"

"I'll tell you what's going on. ", Maine exclaims. "This gonk stole my sandy. Hold up, you know this kid?"

"Yeah. My neighbour, David. He is also Gloria's kid.", Garito explained.

Maine is flabbergasted by this info and couldn't process for a few seconds. A sheer silence filled the room and Maine took a deep breath before speaking up.

"You're Gloria's kid? The hell she's doing, giving it to you?" , Maine asked.

" She died."

Upon the reveal, the whole room's atmosphere starts to change.

"Gloria's dead?! When?!", Garito's facial expression changes upon the revelation.

"Yesterday ", David added.

"Yesterday? But i just talked to her 2 days ago." Maine implied, "What happened? The fuzz get her?"

"Car accident." David explained, "Some gang drive by...got caught in the crossfire. Nothing to do with the sandevistan."

Maine finally releases his grip on David's leg and David groan as he hits the floor really hard. Meanwhile, Garito roll his fist into a ball and grits his teeth. His eyes also start to glitching out. Lucy then walks towards him and petted his back to comfort him.
