Goodbye to My Memory

I saw so many people saying they wished they could be anywhere else. They wished they could escape. Could run away. Could have no responsibilities. I don't have such a wish. I want something different.

I ask everyone here to envision a car ride. It's warm but there's a cool breeze in the air. It isn't Summer; It's just getting there. You're still in school, at work, doing what you have to do, but not right now. Right now, you're in that car. You're in your favorite of the front seats, comfortable, leaning against the door and letting the wind push your hair around wildly. It could be short or long; It doesn't matter. Your shoulders are out, but it's not cold; It's warm. The perfect type of warm where you know you could fall asleep if you were able. All you're doing right now is going somewhere, unworried and unbothered. You don't have to be either; You have no homework to get back to and no phones to hold you hostage. You're just driving. It's lively and green out. The air is clean. This town remains unpolluted. The skies remain beautifully blue. You're happy.
