-Magnus' POV, 1st-
"Hello. I'm ____, who are you?" The voice was static-coated and out of place, as if they belonged somewhere else, but ended up here. "Elegaard..." Why did that name sound so familiar? "Well then, Elegaard, come with me, and I'll show you every corner of the earth, every ocean, every place! We'll do it all together!" A laugh could be heard. it sounded so strange... "Just take my hand, and you'll be free! You want to be free, don't you, Elegaard?" The voice contorted into a weird, low pitched whine at the end. What was going on? "You're scaring me, ____..." "Good."
I awoke in a cold sweat, gasping, and clenching the palms of my hands with my nails. Was that just a dream? It couldn't have been, it felt too... Realistic. Maybe Soren knows something of it. "Yo Soren, you awake?" I yelled to my friend, hoping that he wasn't still sleeping. "What the hell M, just because I'm an insomniac, doesn't mean that you can just go yelling all willy-nilly! What if the neighbors file a noise complaint?" "Neighbors-shneighbors! They wouldn't complain, they're too far away to care." I responded. "I meant the other ones!" he yelled back I sighed.
"Soren, you're a genius." I said, and he nodded, confused, but flattered nonetheless. "so why do I have to keep reminding you that we have no neighbors in the nearest 10 miles?" He rubbed his arm sheepishly, before looking up at me, avoiding my eye the whole time. "Well, I just got so used to living right next to endermen, that I didn't really think on it all too much... Anyways, you needed me for something?" I nodded. I didn't want to tell him now, but I knew he wouldn't leave me alone if I didn't. "Had this weird dream, and it just freaked me out a bit," I said seriously, waiting for a response. The next thing I heard was laughter. "You really woke me up for a nightmare?" He asked sarcastically.
"You were already up, I didn't really do anything," I responded, and he blushed in embarrassment. "Well, I, uh- I-" He stuttered out, and it seemed that even in that big brain of his, he couldn't think of a single retort. "What was the dream about, anyways?" he asked, changing the subject. I explained all about the creepy, off-putting voice, the person named Elegaard, and the weird noises. I still couldn't place my finger on that name: Elegaard. Had I known them, whoever they were? Maybe... "So, basically, some creepy person became friends with this Elegaard person, and that scared you, the 'great' Magnus?" He said in a mocking tone. "Says the person who is such an introvert that he could make bears in hibernation jealous!"
He looked utterly bewildered, giving me time to run before he fully processed what I had said. "MAGNUS!" could be heard from the other room as I sped down the hallway towards my bedroom. I laughed to myself, knowing that when he found me, I was dead meat. He may not be strong, but he is most definitely frightening when he wants to be. Another normal night with friends, and maybe, for once, I wouldn't get absolutely murdered by Soren. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.
