Sunbathed

After Liza and I had lunch, we both went back to our rooms.

She was on Instagram while I was on Tiktok. Not even Tiktok couldn't distract me from what happened earlier.

I sighed and decided to take a shower and head to the beach.

I dug into my mainly unpacked suitcase and got out a green bathing suit where it had a marble pattern cover that matched the bottom of the suit. I brought it into the bathroom.

I took my clothes off and stepped into the shower, and having the feel of warm water on my skin was therapeutic.

How people bade inna cold wata?

I stepped out of the shower and got dressed in the bathroom.

Liza was busy on her phone and I asked her if she wanted to come to the beach with me, she agreed and I told her to get ready.

I got bored so I took pictures, as much as I wouldn't want to admit it I love taking them.

At the same time, Liza came out of the bathroom wearing this lovely set, with a cover similar to mine but much bigger. She had a bag in her hand...

Beach bag?

"A when uh pack beach bag?" I asked, seeing her walk out with a brown tote bag.

"Mi did aguh guh down deh dis morning but wah cute bwoy did ketch mi eye suh mi change mi mind," She said with a smile on her face

I laughed at her, and eventually, she started laughing too

"Yuh seriously need a man Lizzy," I say between laughs.

We make our way down, the sun was shining brightly then...

"Woiiii," Liza shouted

Frightened, I screamed, and she burst out laughing.

"Why yuh do dat drankro!" I shouted

"Because the I want a picture," Liza said, smiling brightly. I rolled my eye while she handed me her phone

She pretty enuh but a crawsis at times.
We arrived at the beach. The scene was picturesque. I love it here.

Jesse's POV

Skylar has me a way.

I sat on my bed, spiraling about today's events.

She felt so good.

I got up trying to shove my thoughts away, but I just can't.

I decided to go and hit the showers and then go make a few phone calls.

*after showering*

I decided to call Isiah, and he picked up on the second ring.

"Yo mi G, y pree?" He said I was sure he had a big smile on his face.

"Nothing, enuh how tings?" I responded.

"Nuh too good enuh, couple a Damien yute dem guh shoot up e corner shop dung a gully side road, Damien a try get a chat to yuh enuh mi G

I clenched my fist as my anger rose

"E look like Damien a try bright up him self, find out wah him want then come back to me," I said while hanging up

Wah dah likkle fassy yah want.

Sky's POV:

Liza and I are chilling on the beach chairs lounging in the sun. It was a good idea to bring her on this trip.

I closed my eyes, and then I felt someone's presence beside me.

Aliyah

"Hey bestie," She says in that weird, high-pitched voice of hers

"You need something?" I asked, opening my eyes without removing my shades

"Oh ah suh yah gwaan now?" She asks, furrowing her brows in confusion.

"I thought it was us on this trip, not some other vultures you found off the street." The stern expression not leaving my face.

"I don't have time for this right now Aliyah"

"Oh sure, you don't," She says

"Whatever it is, I'm sorry."

"You're forgiven," I say, knowing that I truly didn't have any left in my heart for her.

She joined us and later left due to her vultures calling her.

"Oh Skylar, we're having an all white party later by the beach. Feel free to join. 9pm sharp. " She says while walking off

"Yah, plan fi guh?" Liza asks.

"Yeah, man, mek wi guh" I responded.

We went back to our room and saw Jesse there with...

Flowers...and chocolate?
